The course curriculum is almost the same as other colleges. The faculty is helpful and the departments are strict but still during the time when 1st year new students join the timetable and classes go missing as faculty get busy with other work the girl and boy ratio is so much to be discussed as in the engineering department there is a very countable number of students where in other departments like BBA and Nursing and another medical department the ratio of girl is much much higher than the boys. "The university has opted for computer-based examination where all the semester exams are conducted in CBT form".

From the final semester, students were eligible for campus placements. Companies that the university provides the students were amazon, cisco, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. The percentage for students to get placement is more than 80 percent.

They provide the top placement in North East. The average package of my course is 4 LPA. Top companies like WIPRO ACCENTURE provide placement. The university guarantees and also majority of the students gets campus placement.

I got myself admitted to this college for it's better infrastructure and faculties facilities. For an engineer, we get to do a lot of practical works right from 1st semester. Also for many co curricular activities which is available in the college.

It's one of the top ten University in India and the University campus infrastructure and the environment is so good. University is not far from City but the location is nice near Brahmaputra river with eco-friendly evergreen mountains. University consists of so many entertainment and learning things.

The positive remark of the college are its faculty and negative aspect is the management. Our hostel life is very good but i suggest to improve our food because there are lots of students so i suggest to hire people for cooking.

The main negative thing is the college is far away from Guwahati city and the transportation service is not good and the university is also situated on the top of hill , so climbing every day mountain is so painful for legs.

Overall the college is good. Infrastructure is somewhat average. Need a lot of improvements. Faculties are good. Placements are average
