NIT Arunchal Pradesh is Amazing!!

Likes

Ours is one of the latest NITs and therefore we have the best of facilities at our campus.
Government is actively involved in making our college better and better and hence we soon will be among top 10 NITs.
Unlimited and fastest of Wi-Fi is provided to the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotels nearby and therefore we have to use bus service to get out of the campus.

AIEEE is the way to get NITs and for those who don't get IITs, NITs are always there second choice. So I would be probably lying that NIT was my first choice, it were IITs. However coming from the same state, a lot of travel time is saved and hence I am happy that I was rejected in JEE mains.

Distance of college is far away from market area

Admission:

It is better and i choose it because it has good infrastructure, higher placement rate , cooperative faculty members who conduct regular doubt classes. The academic environment is good here and i love it

Their is no proper classroom installed with Ac or even mic and speaker for teachers
Their is no sport complex or gym facility for physical activity . We donot have proper ground for sport activities .
Their no proper canteen aur food court in matter of fact , the food quality is bad

Admission:

I applied for iiit bhagalpur in mechatronics branch but i missedit with few margin , the think that went wrong is my rank in jee. The eligibility is simple for b tech its jee mains with the required percentile as per your rank and category and also 75 percentage in 12 board.

Admission:

In most cases of our batch mate the college choice was made by the result of wrong choice filling in counselling. So at the time of counselling choose college wisely. Prefer NITs from mainly land as you will get more opportunities in jobs.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh pros and cons

Likes

The college was situated in a convenient and vibrant area, offering easy access to essential amenities, transportation, and recreational spots. The scenic surroundings added to the charm and provided a pleasant environment for studying and relaxation
The faculty were highly educated and experienced in their respective fields
Sports were good and cultural events also very exciting and refreshing in nature

Dislikes

I disliked the placement authority here and also there is no internship opportunities are given to students in 3rd year you will have to do it by yourself here
Labs and equipments are also outdated and not very well furnished
Library facilities are available but very poor and also transportation facilities in college is very poor

Admission:

I filled the jee mains and then got here through josaa counselling actually I got this college in last round and application form was same as the jee mains form and exam are tough to clear as you all know Test is conducted by NTA so authentication is already there

The college has a training and placement cell which looks after all the placement related opportunities for students
Weather of the place where the college is located is very suitable as students do not suffer from much hot and cold, it remains moderate.
Student intake is less, that is very few students are present in each branch which leads to more one to one interactions with faculties .

Dislikes

During winter season, there is acute shortage of water in campus and students suffer from this situation every year
There is no proper sports facilities in campus, only a small ground is present, also extracurricular activities are not given much importance.

Admission:

To take admission into NIT, students must appear for an entrance exam (JEE) and score good percentile. Application form comes every year on NTA site and it cost around 700 rs for filliing the application. Also if students have a category , they can avail its benefits during counselling as the cutoff of category students remain low. JEE occur twice a year and it has two levels main and advanced, those who clears main are eligible for advanced and the difficulty level is high. For different branches cut offs are different. One improvement which should be done is to scrutinized the documents very carefully while taking admissions.

Know everything about NIT Arunachal Pradesh

Likes

The natural beauty of college is very good. A pollution free environment. Helping seniors.
Seniors helped me in every possible way.
Clubs are active. People here are really good.

Dislikes

Lack of basic facilities in the campus like water, electricity and internet at times.
Not much transport services. Private transport is too costly.
Water issue remains every time, no one is doing anything for it. Plus there is corruption in every step in the college. In papers we have library and every other academic building but that's not so in real.

Admission:

Well I got admission through jossa counciling . It's just like any other nit, we get the college according to our jee rank. There is obvious reservation set by government, plus state quota for Arunachal students. For other state students like me only jossa or csab is the way to get a seat in this college.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh - An Honest Overview

Likes

The campus life sure gives a lot of experiences and it has its own positives and negatives
I had good social interactions with students and made a healthy relationship with my faculty and my batch
The faculty is average some are good in their fields and some do lack but the infrastructure is improving will become a great insitute

Dislikes

The facilitites are limited as it is in arunachal pradesh things are costly
There is no water in the January because of that we have holiday in february
The placements are not so promising companies have started to visit and those who visit are not that big of a company

Admission:

I got admitted to my college thorough JoSAA counselling I had 27005 rank in jee mains so I opted for this college for CSE branch and application form was sent to the students via email by the college only

Tragedy of NIT Arunachal Pradesh

Likes

Location is beautiful including scenery.

Dislikes

corrupted surroundings as heard by the people and social activist. Mainly land corruption
underdeveloped infrastructure and engineering
No high quality labs as expected from NITs and improvised Staff members

Admission:

JEE qualifications are low cutoff. mine was 71 percent for computer science engineering but it was higher for civil engineering courses. Examinations are two times a semester. mid-semester and end-semester marks are parted.
