NIT Arunachal Pradesh Faculties : Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 54 Reviews

The college faculty, particularly in the Civil and Computer Science departments, is experienced with both theoretical and practical knowledge. Some faculty members have previously worked as civil engineers, providing valuable insights from real-world projects. The faculty is highly qualified, with an average age close to 32, and most are PhD graduates.

However, there is an issue with insufficient faculty numbers, leading to faculty managing multiple subjects and limited optional course availability. The faculty-to-student ratio has improved from 1:76 to 1:28 in some departments, although it remains a general challenge. Faculty are approachable and supportive, interacting personally with students, and often providing mentorship.

The course curriculum is relevant and exams are moderately difficult. Despite some faculty displaying unnecessary attitudes, students generally find the teaching quality satisfactory and the faculty knowledgeable.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh: 1 Answered Question

How is the faculty of mathematical physics at NIT Arunachal Pradesh? My rank is 624 in the JAM (physics). Should I enroll for this course?

The faculties are very well qualified and have PhDs from IIT, ISM, ISI, NIT, etc. You will find both good and bad faculty members here.

The curriculum and syllabus are structured in such a way that both Mathematics and Physics get equal importance. Majorly it is more of a theoretical-based course. As the name suggests this is one of the unique courses at the masters’ level in India for which both Maths and physics students can enroll.

The campus is yet to shift to a permanent campus the facilities here provided are not that superior. But neglecting this fact, if you are keen to study; you have plenty of room for studying.

If you are going for self-study, then it is the best college as you will get ample time for it. The college is really good and you can get much to learn if you invest your time properly.
