Vasavi college of engineering

Likes

The maintenance of college was too good.
The faculty has good experience and great knowledge on subject
The sports area is big and you can have chances to play with other colleges

Dislikes

Some faculties with less knowledge but more attitude
Compensating the holidays and conducting colleges on 2nd Saturday

Placement Experience:

There are many placements happening in this college. I got many notifications on the placement and it's very grateful to see them. This college bring good companies for placements with good package . Thank you

VCE: Talent meets Opportunity

Likes

I liked the canteen food. Most of it is hygience only.
Faculty are very friendly. They encourage a lot.
Library decorum is also maintained. We can study peacefully.

Dislikes

Fests are very less when compared to other colleges.
Sports hours are sometimes taken by faculty.
Few faculty teaches very fast. Average students like me lose interest.

Placement Experience:

I saw many of my seniors getting internships from their 4th semester itself. But they are not campus placements. They apply outside college and try. I think after 5th or 6th semester students are elligible tfor campus placements. I heard than 80+ companies visited our as we are considered to be one of the top colleges in telangana. ServiceNow, Oracle, Qualcomm these are the most visited. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, CISCO, VISA, Salesforce also visited. Still so many there i don't remember all of them. I heard that 90% to 95% students get placed. In 2024 42.6LPA was the highest package I don't remember the student name. My plans are simple. Get a high paid job, work for 2 to 3 years and do M.tech for better oppurtunities.

My honest review

Likes

The campus is filled with a lottt of trees. The atmosphere is very good there. It feels so calm.
The amount of books they have in library is crazyy. They have a vast collection of books. They have fictional books,self help books, books for GATE preparation and a lot more which add up to around 1Lac+ books
The vibe, every senior is friendly, I have talked to a lot of seniors and none of us have not ragged us. Seniors do guide us in terms of giving tips for hackathons,scoring marks, explaining stuff etc

Dislikes

The campus is small. Wish it was bigger. It is good but yeah
The college hours. We only get 40 mins of lunch break which isn't enough for me.
The canteen menu. Although almost everything tastes good but there's a limited menu. There aren't a lot of options

I am not sure about the answer to this question but I think students are officially eligible to sit in the campus placements from 7th semester. A student must have a minimum of 7.5CGPA to get a chance to access the placement rounds. Oracle, google, tata, Infosys, service now and a lot more companies visited our campus. Highest package is around 50LPA which is on campus. And off campus it's around 1cr. The aversge package depends on the branch. My branch's average package is around 8 to 9 LPA I guess. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed here in vasavi

I like the faculty who are well experienced
I like the campus which is surrounded by greenery
I like the well maintained classrooms and labs

Dislikes

I expected a lot from the college but it's not that as much i experienced
The college doesn't have a campus which is a problem
The journey is hard the roads are not good

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to placements from 6 th semester Google and oracle TCS infosys are some major companies there is upto 80 percentage placements in the previous year highest was around 40 lpa no plans just get a job

I like the placements in it and CSE branches our college is reputed for these branch placements and as of ece branch the placements percentage is around 68 percent and labs and all are well equipped our college also encourages sports but not that muc
I like the genuinity maintained in my college where they do not encourages any donations admissions are purely based on the examinations score such as jee emacet and ipe
It is a good college it has a bus facility all over from. The city

Dislikes

I dislike the encouragement of extracurricular activities in my college which is not at all there
Faculty is strict in correction they don't encourage students when participating in Events
Mostly the senior junior interaction is not that much which i strongly disagree because it is necessary for the students to get the know the things

Placement Experience:

Mostly from the 3 -2 i think the placements start There are a lot of companies which visits of college mostly for the cs related branch and we also get some placements in ece branch from the company's like qualcomm and service where the eligibility criteria is very high they mostly took the toppers with high cgpa

vce review of a 1st year student

Likes

teachers behaviour and their strictsness toward studies
campus atmosphere , computer labs , physics labs
infrastructure and aminities are well maintained and very clean campus

Dislikes

no hostel for the students who came from far distance or other places
very small ground and only small canteen
food in canteen is overpriced for some items

from 3rd year we get campus placements. but from 3rd semester we get internships basd on our skills. servicenow,oracle,flipkart,qualcomm,intel,tcs,accenture,wipro,infosys,amazon,goldman schs,deliveroo,cisco,F5

Likes

I liked the environment in the college and the atmosphere.
I liked the lecturers way of teaching and their dedication.
The quality of the infrastructure is good but can be improved.

Dislikes

There is no hostel in the campus , so I am staying in private hostel
The college do not focus on extra curricular activities
The faculty is supporting but do not encourage self learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked computers right from my childhood, so I decided to take computer science and engineering. Every semester they call people from industries to teach real world use cases , recently I attended that program and I feel it is quite useful.

Review of VCE

Likes

Small but beautiful campus with great infrastructure
Friendly Faculty and teaching is great and the vibe of students no ragging
Library and the support faculty and the management give us to improve ourselves is great

Dislikes

Good but not enough sporting facilities in our college
Club are there but only active during the fest time ... Rest of the time everyone are busy .

Placement Experience:

Great placement if we study hard . Even many of the students placed in Google, Microsoft etc . And many of them get dream placements like 40 lpa which even Nitans fails to achieve . Heightest package is 46 lakhs and Avg is 9 lpa this year

Located in rajendra nagar because it is major city
The college provide the number of interships

Dislikes

No transportation facilities are provided , may be long distance feel difficult to travel.
Due to huge crowd of students , the students may be struggle
One of the challenge of attending the college because of High tution fees

Compare to other institutions...in this institution the college fees are low and rajendra nagar is major city in Hyderabad and the college timings 9:30am to 3pm. The internals will conducted according to the time table

Memory of my college days

Likes

In my university we got good experienced faculty and their concept clarity is very good
University is too big we can get opportunity to make good friends
I think at an affordable fees we got better education

Dislikes

Sometimes We need to adjust with hostel food
Sometimes you will face ragging with seniors
Lot of students were distracted and bunk class

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have 6 semesters and each year we need to attempt 2 semesters. I took this course because I'm interested in government job and these subjects are very useful for my career also I think our teaching is theory based so I suggest improve some practical experience for students better understanding of concepts

Osmania University, in my opinion, is a place where you can learn anything you want. Be it academics, politics, or your other goals. There are numerous resources available at OU that you can use to advance your career. The location of OU is its greatest asset. If you are stressed or bored with your daily routine, you can take a bus and be at RTC X-roads, the land of theaters, in 10 minutes. Even walking from OU to X-roads will take less than 25 minutes. Tired of the same old food? Just put your legs outside your room, and you'll have a plethora of restaurants to choose from. Biryani BAWARCHI, the king of Hyderabad Biryani, is also located on RTC-X roads.

If you like reading, you can go to Central Library or Landscape, which are opposite each other. If you want to be an IAS officer, there are excellent coaching institutes like RC REDDY in RTC X-Roads. You can also enjoy some colorful scenery on campus.
