Ques. Can a working professional in a private company apply for Part-Time PhD in Physics at NIT Warangal?
Ans. Yes, but with specific conditions. Employees from private industries are eligible only if their company has R&D facilities and holds membership in CII, ASSOCHAM, or a similar recognized industry body. A No Objection Certificate from the employer is mandatory. Employees of private companies without R&D facilities or the required industry body membership are not eligible for the part-time PhD program at NIT Warangal.
Ques. Is GATE score mandatory for admission to Part-Time PhD in Physics at NIT Warangal?
Ans. No, GATE/UGC-CSIR-NET is not mandatory for the PhD Physics program (Science department) at NIT Warangal. However, if you hold a valid GATE score, you are directly called for an interview and exempted from the written test. Candidates without GATE must appear for a written test based on the GATE syllabus for Physics, followed by an interview.
