NITW Ph.D. FAQs
Ques. Is CAT or GATE score mandatory for Ph.D. (Management) admission at NIT Warangal?
Ans. No, CAT/GATE/UGC-NET/GMAT/GRE/CSIR NET qualification is not mandatory for admission to the Ph.D. (Management) programme at NIT Warangal. All candidates must appear for an interview. However, candidates who hold a valid CAT/GATE/NET/GMAT score are exempted from the written test and are directly called for an interview. Candidates without any of these qualifications must appear for a written test (based on management/GATE syllabus) followed by an interview. Having a qualifying score in these exams does give candidates an advantage in the selection process, as it demonstrates academic aptitude.
