Likes
- The infrastructure of the whole campus is top notch.
- The faculties have 15 plus years of teaching experience and they all have PHDs in their respective fields plus they are very friendly and approachable
- There are a lot of opportunities for exposure including fests and cultural events which will help to build your resume.
Dislikes
- The main concern for me was that i am from north india and the college being in south attracts a lot of south indian students therefore making a language barrier.
- The management is very slow. They wait till the last minute to declare important information to the students.
- As the college is very far from my home travel becomes a concern for classes and extra curricular activities after college.
Placement Experience:
The students studying in the 4th sem(2nd year) are supposed to do internships as a mandate and then they are eligible for placements.
There are many companies which come here for placements like Adobe, aditya birla, tata, mahindra , amazon etc
The avg package is 600000 and the highest package is 1.2 cr according to my knowledge.

- Campus is very big and greenery everywhere and also beach is very close only 5 minute walk
- Faculty is good and supportive at very stage mentors are very helpful
- People are good in campus and willing to help everytime
Dislikes
- Mess food is very bad no improvement after many feedback
- Building is old new construction is still going on
- Language is major issue in this region here
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is designed keeping in mind about future demand. Curriculum is good and easy like there are subjects like art of persuasive communication which really help me to gain extra knowledge but some courses are irrelevant like social science

- Infrastructure and the cleanliness maintained in the university
- A lot of sports and clubs to take part in
- Friendly teachers and easy communication

- Everything is very expensive in the university
- A lot of competition to get into any interested clubs
- Everything needs to be done online only in the university
Placement Experience:
The placements are promising in Gitam. For my course, the average salary package is around 8 lacs per annum. 60% of the students will be getting placements. I would like to opt to take the placement if it promises a good package. And if not I will choose to study further

- I liked the infrastructure, environment and atmosphere.
- I actually liked how some of the teachers have managed to deliver their subject well to the students.
- In the Management Department, I personally liked certain faculty members i.e. Sunil sir, Ishrat Naaz ma’am, Mohammed Abdullah sir and Adhinarayana Rao sir
Dislikes
- I didn’t like the way how the renovation works are carried during college hours.
- The college doesn’t have a bus of its own and we have to get on the local RTC buses which doesn’t have basic neatness.
- The washrooms of the BBA and the engineering blocks are the worst
Placement Experience:
The placements are good for the Engineering department and the MBA but not so good for the BBA department. And when we decide to sit for the college placements the faculty members manipulate us for higher studies etc

- The thing which I don’t like about the university is Telugu Do dominancy
Placement Experience:
About the placement, I would say that the placements are too good. Neither too good, not too bad, but it's average for the bachelors, but while going to MBA, the placements are well and good. The average salary of bachelor may ranging from 5 to 6 LP, which I think is enough for a bachelors degree. If you are capable enough, you can draw salary of 7 to 8 LPA as well in your bachelors.

- I dislike the faculty who insults the students
- I dislike the seniors who behave rude to the juniors
- I dislike the people who always fight with there friends in the campus

At the end of the semester the students are eligible for campus placements so many companies will visit to our campus like Deloitte company etc they offer good packages for the students who score 8 to 9 cgpa

- The college campus is quite large and full of greenery. There are many beautiful places inside the campus.
Dislikes
- You have to maintain 75%attendance. It is really tough because their timing is really big.
Placement Experience:
Students in their last 2nd year of the course are eligible for placements. Popular recruiters like TCS, Bosch, Wipro, VEM Technologies have visited for placements, the no. of offers made in 2023 are around 466, and the highest package is INR 23 LPA.

- Social life on the campus is amazing with its prime location
- The teaching faculties are all experienced and dedicated

- The fest and events are more biased towards the local side
- Not proper time table are available to students

Placement Experience:
I've completed my 2nd year BBA but didn't get any offer yet.
Maybe after my MBA.
For us, we only get INTERNSHIP offers (including paid and unpaid).
My plan after my degree is to avail job offers.
And do some job for my experience and then move to the family business.

Remarks:
First of all, visakhapatnam is my hometown so i thought its gonna be great if i study in the city which is my roots and also that i will be close to my aging grandparents.gitam was never my 1st choice,i wanted to get into Christ/symbiosis but was unable to in the interview round.Then my family suggested of gitam.I wasn't even aware of this College.Eventually i wrote the online test and got through.
