The fee in bits is about 7 lakhs including hostel and mess. The hostel fee is about 50knper semester. The college offers two types of scholarship. One is merit which is given to top 1 percent of students in a year. The second is MCN(MERIT CUM NEED). This is given for students having more that 6.00 cgpa and the family income is less than 15 lakhs per annum(Goa campus)
Since i joined BITS theres has been a steady 3-5% hike in the fee structure. Per semester you'll have to pay about 2Lakhs. There are a lot of scholarships the most popular onces are Merit scholarship and Merit-Cum-Need scholarship. The college does help in getting financial assistance to deserving and needy and students. Theres a very good placement unit which provide a lot of opportunities according to the needs of recruiting company.
The fees were like around 400000/- year, which also contains the mess fees, hostel fees, and miscellaneous fees. There is an availability of scholarships (merit-based and merit & need-based). For the scholarship, one needs to provide income certificates for their family members.
BITS is pretty expensive. You do get merit-based and MCN (merit-cum-need) based scholarships but on average, the cost is on the higher side. Internship and job opportunities are plenty, especially in IT and software, not so much in the core branches. An average stipend would probably be around 25k for the final year internship (Practice School II), but you need to pay a fee to obtain the PS station from the college.
we have different course curriculum when compared to other colleges and universities our final gpa will be considered from internal marks labs and attendance. Faculty in our college are experienced for more than 20 years and they care of every student
Every course offered in our college is said to be updated every 3 years. As for industrial exposure, I think 1st year students needn't have any. The faculty is very interactive and passionate about their subjects
Merit and merit cum need scholarship. You can get scholarship on the basis of your cg and scholarship are given on tution fees and after every semester. Ranging from 25 % to 80 %. Merit scholarship are given to top cg holders Ranging from 40% to 100 %
Loans you can apply in banks..and regarding scholarship you have merit cum scholarship..which will be given if you have good score and your family income is below certain standards.
