Fees and Financial Aid:

As per now for MBA its 1.9 lakh per semester where it includes tution fees, lab fees, health insurance, transportation cost and other benefits. The hostel fees is 20000 which include all the benefit of wifi, cleaning, water supply etc for the mess its 35000 per semester which includes all the food facilities. The scolarship program is also there for the ST/SC students in the course with other government benefits

Fees and Financial Aid:

Birla Institute of Technology has 5 to 6 branches in all over India, like in Ranchi, BIT Mesra, and BIT (lalpur extension). The fee structure will be given in the official portal, and you can opt for a student loan for paying your college fees. The annual fee was 148000. I got no scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee is 238000 per year and the hostel charge is excluded. Three-year program with six semesters. The scholarship was only provided to postgraduate students and students can avail loan facility if required.

I have availed 25% scholarship because I have got good marks in my 12th and my percentage was above 80 so I got the scholarship and direct admission.I have not took any loan as my family was capable to pay my fees.

Is there any fee discount for SC/ST in BIT Mesra for B.Tech?

There is no fee discount offered exclusively to SC/ST candidates of B.E. at BIT Mesra. However, you may get some discount on the first-semester fee, which is available for students of all castes and depends upon their ranks.

BIT Mesra and its other branches (Ranchi, Patna, Deoghar, and Jaipur) do offer scholarships to students based on their GPA and their performance each semester.

To become eligible for the scholarship, you have to score more than or equal to 8 GPA in your semesters. The scholarship is not caste-based and is open to every deserving student. With the benefit of this scholarship, if you perform well in a semester, some percentage of your fee will be credited back into your bank account. This is the scholarship criteria-

8 GPA - 20% scholarship
8.5 GPA - 50% scholarship
9 GPA - 75% scholarship
9.5 GPA - 100% scholarship (you won’t be charged for your hostel and mess. All the money paid by you will be credited to your bank account)

Thus, students of all social backgrounds can avail the benefit of fee deduction if they score very good grades during each semester of their B.E. at BIT Mesra and its other campuses through this scholarship system.

Is BIT Mesra's fee structure similar to a NIT's fee structure?

BIT Mesra's fee structure in 2023 is nowhere comparable to that of NIT. BIT is a private engineering college and obviously charges higher fees than a government college like NIT.

Here is the detailed fees structure of BIT Mesra BTech:

The fees for NITs are quite less compared to BIT Mesra. For instance, NIT Trichy's first-semester fee is only Rs. 62,500.
