• Right now I am still pursuing my Masters, so can't really provide any exact details regarding this.

• I found the accommodation via Amber App, which has multiple options across the globe. Monthly rent varies depending the location, type of room. University accommodations are bit expenses compared to other.

• Currently, there is a very low percentage of students securing a full-time job after completion of the course.
• The average salary range is around 38k-45k GBP that most students in my program expect to earn after graduation.
• The students apply through Linkedin , apply for internships, and network with the professors for any recommendations.
• The placement experiences of my batchmates were actually hectic. They applied to more than 100 job postings and only got around 10 interviews or callbacks.
• Major companies that hire are Amazon, and NHS.

• I opted for private accommodation. I found this through Amber Accommodation.
• The monthly rent was 450 GBP, and the common room, gaming room, study room, and access to gardens were included.
• The challenge I faced was shifting to other rooms. Some of the rooms were very badly maintained, for which I had to complain and switch to other rooms.

• I searched for accommodation through an online platform called amber students. There you can compare the prices, locations, and sizes of the houses and decide which one fits your needs. You can also chat with them and tell them your preference and they can sort some places for you.
• Sheffield being a hilly area, there are so many ups and downs, so I preferred to get a place near my uni building, which made commuting easier.

• I'm not too sure about the right percentage but it is usually above 80 percent of students and the university helps them in applying for jobs. The average salary depends on where they work but usually more than 15000 pounds.
• They find it through careers fairs at university or companies events and online websites like Indeed, bright network. The major companies are Lloyds, HSBC, PWC, EY. 

• I have opted for Off Campus Accommodation. There are student accommodations available through websites online like Amber, UniHomes, etc. that help you find accommodation in the city.
• My monthly rent is around 500 pounds. I have my personal bedroom and washroom but shared kitchen and common space like theatre, pool table, study rooms, karaoke rooms etc. It was pretty easy to find accommodations in this city. It's very close to my University and right in the city centre.

• Most of the batch people, that is, at least 70%, will secure a job within six months to one year of study completion. In my course, there are campus placements or recruitment jobs, so we have to actively search for preferred roles in the NHS. But we can also work as professors or continue studying for a PhD. There are plenty of work options to work as lecturers in this field.

• I live in a private student accommodation. I found this online. It wasn’t so difficult to find accommodation.
• I have a silver ensuite room. My rent is about £500 a month. It is a single room with an attached bathroom and a common kitchen shared by four of us.

LinkedIn and networking events also play a big role - I personally got interviews through LinkedIn connections with Sheffield alumni.

• I found my accommodation through online websites and the rent was 115 pounds per week. There were no major challenges apart from the fact that booking the accommodation required me to connect with people in the UK and that required me to spend money on international talktime.
• For future students, just start looking for places around 3-4 months before your course starts otherwise you might end up not securing the place as they usually run out due to high demand.
• My accommodation was only 200m from my university.

• Amber helped me with accommodation. The rent is £500 per month, which includes the basic utilities and amenities: Wi-Fi, heating, and access to shared kitchen and living spaces. The location is great, fairly close to the campus of the University of Sheffield.

• Within 6 months is doable but not easy. It depends on a lot of factors like: does the student wants sponsorship, does the student wants a specific job type or is flexible, does the student has got relevant experience for the job they are applying to and so on.
• It's a bit of a hustle but eventually students find their way.
• There are job fairs held by the university as well as expos are held in London and Manchester every year. Students can meet their potential employers in these events

• My friend helped me find accommodation. The monthly rent was 500£ with all facilities included.
• Whilst being a student, you are exempted from paying council tax. There were no major challenges to booking student accommodation because Sheffield is a student-friendly city.
• The accommodation is 10 minutes walk from the university. Most of the Indian students stay in university accommodations together.

This is different for different courses, and this system is different from the one in India. The uni doesn’t help in ensuring your placement, but they do connect you with various companies, through company projects, career fairs, volunteer fairs, etc. We also have an employability hub where people are available all the time to help you with your CVs, job apps, job search, interview prep, assessment centre prep, and much more. They also have a lot of workshops happening all the time, particularly for the job aspect.

I signed up for Rostrum Education which is an agency that helps student choose universities, applications, SOPs and overall assistance. They helped me find the best uni for my course and I am incredibly satisfied. I had great modules on my course, exactly what I was looking for. I had a great experience in my uni, with my teachers, friends, and flatmates. I immediately felt at home here. Overall people are very nice and helpful and it was a new experience for me so I was excited and prepared for it beforehand, I had done a lot of research before moving here. I’ve been on trips, I’ve explored my city, I have participated in various activities and workshops, I have gained a lot of skills, I have developed a really good CV, and I have earned money as well.
