  • I used to stay off campus. I came to know about my accommodation through an online portal. My accommodation was in a central London zone. Challenges faced in my accommodation were sometimes the noise. But overall, the accommodation was a solid 4/5.
  • The staff was helpful; the study area, the lawn and the courtyard – everything was up to date. The laundry area was always clean. Even the common area and lobby used to be very happening.

  • I think 50% of the batch secures the job within 6 months and approximately 90% in 3 years of graduation. The average salary range starts from 26000 GBP per year. Students find jobs in all kinds of ways where there is a will, there is a way. I know people who got a job as soon as they applied, and I know people who were ready to leave and book their one-way ticket back home but got a job offer last minute. You can apply for jobs through the university portal, target jobs, LinkedIn, and Indeed.

  • My accommodation was off campus and i found it through university living which is a service provider to find and book accommodations to students according to there needs and requirements, My monthly rent was 1250 pounds which included of daily breakfast, 24hrs beverages, Study and playing room, Every once a week room service, A bicycle from there side and a gym membership with a personal led tv.

  • My challenge was to find a good accommodation at a worthy rate cause i got late in finding accommodation and almost all of them were sold out so will suggest to book accommodation as soon as possible or else you will end up paying more than it should have been.

  • My university was 40 mins away from my accommodation. and Indian students stay across whole city and no particular place mostly everyone prefers it at walking distance to the university.

  • I managed to find an accommodation outside the campus, I lived in an apartment in Stratford and the rent was 750 pounds for a shared room which included all the bills and had maid that would come in every month for a deep cleaning.
  • The agency was called Cemlux Homes.
  • The accommodation was top notch, but finding it was very difficult the accommodation for international students is really bad in the UK as it requires a UK guarantor which can be a really hard process.

  • I went through agents and online platforms but most agents are helpful, one should be careful while checking for accommodation online. I saw a lot of people getting scammed online in London and it's usually a bit tough so; I would highly recommend everyone to grab university accommodation as it's first come first serve and the accommodation inside is nice so go ahead with it.
  • If looking for off-campus, there are two accommodations right out, which are good as well.

  • I found my accommodation online - IQ Student Accommodation. The name of my building was IQ East Court. It is situated right opposite to my University and is a very convenient location.
  • The rent was €1200 per month which included one studio room with kitchen and bathroom (private). Addition were a lounge room, cinema room and a gym - all free of cost. It was pretty easy to book it and everything was done online. It is secure and easy.
  • Indians mostly live in private housing or University accommodation which is cheaper but doesn't has much private space.

I primarily chose Queen Mary University due to its research-oriented approach towards academics. I had an eagle eye on the curriculum for my specific course and the teaching methodology they employed. It is also a Russell group university which gives it prestige. I chose the UK as it is the best for my course- English Literature, specifically London, as it is the city for arts and writing. In conclusion, it was a great experience and taught me a plethora of things besides academics.

I chose this university because the fees were not that high, and it ranked in the top 50 in the world, hence I went for this university. I also reached out to past graduates, they described it as a good university of finance as well and hence I went for it.

I chose Queen Mary University of London because it provides one of the best course structures for Intellectual Property Rights and all the renowned professors taught in this university. I overall really liked my experience at this university, which was really great in terms of academics as LLM is more inclined towards academia and it fulfilled all the criteria of developing a deeper understanding of the subject and developing my own dissertation and also because all my professors were very helpful. I chose this particular program ( Intellectual Property Rights) because most of my interests have been carved around IPR through my internships and publications and I further want to pursue PhD in this subject thus I was inclined to choose this subject.
