• I had opted for student accommodation. It was just absolutely amazing. I felt like living in a five-star hotel for a year. My flatmates were all so friendly and awesome. I had applied for the accommodation on the university website itself, and I had chosen Band D (Ensuite) as my preferred accommodation.
• I got my room assigned at the Manor Park Campus, which was beautiful and the exact location I wanted to live in. All the facilities, like laundry, game room, sports complex, kitchen, and everything was included at the Manor Park accommodations. Just that it was a 15min walk from the main stag hill campus. But even that wasn't a problem since the local stagecoach buses used to go from Manor Park to Stag Hill and even beyond to the town centre. My living experience was just perfect and memorable.

• Excellent accommodation

• I chose to live on campus because it provided convenience, security, and quick access to university resources. Compared to external searches on sites like Zoopla, Rightmove, Facebook groups, or student accommodation sites, I got my room through the University of Surrey's official housing page, which made the process simple. As could be expected for ensuite university housing, the monthly fee was somewhat expensive, but the price included amenities like Wi-Fi, kitchen, heating, electricity, maintenance assistance, laundry access, and close proximity to the library and other campus buildings.
• There are only a handful of desired room types, and that was one of the biggest obstacles because rooms fill up rapidly, and it was occasionally difficult to make a decision when comparing costs with off-campus options. I would advise future students to apply early, carefully compare all room types, and look into backup options from reputable student housing organisations as well as university housing. In my opinion, staying on campus as they are comparatively affordable than other options.
• The majority of Indian students typically prefer to stay either on campus or in adjacent locations like Manor Park, Ash Grove, or Guildford town centre, depending on availability and expense. My accommodation was within a short walk from the college (approximately 1 minute), which saved a lot of traveling time.

• I lived in private accommodation throughout my PhD and found them using Bangor Student Pad and friends who lived there before. The monthly rent, including all bills, can range from £350 for a room in a shared house to over £700 for studio flats.

• Accommodation is allotted by the university. Rent was 800 pounds per month for an en suite room.

• 660 pounds was my room cost; it was an en ensuite on campus and it was a flat with 6 rooms all ensuite and a shared kitchen.

• It was on-campus accommodation. I found it on their website only and it was cheaper than private. The monthly rent was 450 pounds. We got a personal room and shared a bathroom and kitchen. I would say for my university.
• On-campus accommodation was cheaper than private but in London it’s the opposite. So I would say it is reliable as well, but in private you might face some fraud sometimes

• 500 to 600 per month but outside it is expensive as Guildford is rich. There are various options too one who wants luxury can choose band D university accommodations can be around 800+

• The university of Surrey is ranked high for the employability rankings and many students secure a full time position after few months of graduating. The salary range for a full-time position is from 20000 to 40000.
• Students typically find jobs through personal efforts by using websites like LinkedIn, indeed and university career websites.

Only a few were able to secure a job within 6 months. The average salary is about 36000. Campus placement, Internship, Linkedin, indeed. The highest and lowest will vary according to the job role.
