ARU Postgraduate Scholarships
This scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible international students starting a postgraduate course at ARU; no application is required
- British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM: In partnership with the British Council, ARU offers scholarships to female students, studying any STEM subjects. This full scholarship covers tuition fees, airfare, a monthly living stipend, and a Career Development Bursary, with an additional financial allowance for applicants with children.
- Alumni Scholarship: International students who have completed an ARU degree and want to pursue a postgraduate taught or research degree are eligible for a 20% discount on postgraduate taught courses or a 400 GBP discount on postgraduate research programs. This scholarship is not available for degree apprenticeships or distance learning courses.
- Early Payment Discount: International students can receive a 1,000 GBP discount in their first year of study if they pay their tuition fees in full by the Friday before the start of teaching. This discount can be combined with other scholarships up to a total value of 4,000 GBP
Note: It is possible to apply for more than one scholarship, but only the highest-value scholarship will be awarded. The Alumni Scholarship is an exception and can be combined with some other scholarships or bursaries.

- Higher Award: Up to 7,000 GBP, with 4,000 GBP in the first year and 1,000 GBP in each subsequent year (up to three years), subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
No separate application is needed for an international undergraduate scholarship; it is automatically awarded if the eligibility criteria are met. This scholarship is not applicable for degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance learning, or work-based degrees, and students applying to ARU College.

Overview
Location was a key factor. I wanted to study in Cambridge because there are a large number of students from all over the world in Cambridge. The diverse environment, along with extremely professional University staff helped allowed me to have the best possible university life for the past three years.
Overview
It was one of those closer to home but still with a good reputation and offering the course I wanted. The entry requirements also fit my A level results and the people at the open day seemed nice. The course was selected through clearing.
Fees
I was charged 9250(UK Limit) per year of study. Paid for by Student Loans Company. Accommodation around 164/week.
