• Approx 80% of my previous cohort secured employment within 6 months. Being a citizen of UK increases the chances.
• The average salary is approximately 33000 - 36000 pounds for students.
• Most students apply for graduate schemes during studying. A lot of companies provide this opportunity. Some students with previous experience may also be able to secure jobs with higher salary.
• Some of my batchmates have been placed in EY, Wessex water, Nike, Sage and HP.
• Big 4 hires a lot from my course. Accenture also hires a lot. TPP and Future are also few of the top recruiters.

• I applied for Uni accommodation but it was a city accommodation named Green Park House. My accommodation was approx 2 miles from the Uni with regular buses on U1 route.
• My monthly rent was approx 800 pounds. And 5 people had ensuite washrooms with a communal kitchen. This was quite spacious. All utilities were included in the rent.
• To be honest, I did not face any challenge at all securing the accommodation.
• In Bath, I would suggest university accommodations as the number of private accommodations is quite limited.

• I do not have exact figures. Yet few students (including International Students) secured jobs post their graduation. When I graduated, the job market was horrible. A hiring freeze was happening in many companies, and many of my batch mates took over 6 months to land themselves a job. I had to return to my home country, as did a lot of people from my batch.
• The salary package for the marketing graduates will be negotiable according to location, company, and role applied. For marketing grad schemes in the UK, basic starting salaries usually fall around £20k-£30k. That said, you may earn significantly more if you are a graduate in London or have secured an offer of employment with one of the larger companies.
• Our program graduates generally found employment by: College career fairs and networking events where you can speak to the hiring managers of companies that you're excited about working with, Online job portals (eg: Indeed, LinkedIn or marketing job boards), Networking Events & Alumni Reach out, Internships that come with the possibility of a full-time offer, Career services from the university, where you can get a list of jobs as well as help. Students also sometimes find work via personal connections and word of mouth or by directly applying to the companies they're interested in working for.
• Few of my batchmates have even landed a job as a Digital Marketing Executive, Marketing Graduate or even a Marketing Coordinator. Those who began applying as the course started had a better chance of securing a position close to their graduation. A few went and got jobs at Dyson, P&G, etc.

• I used online platforms to search for accommodations like Amber Student, University Living, etc.
• The rent I was paying was 278 GBP per week as I had rented out a studio. This did not include laundry services or any food services, just the accommodation room.
• It was tricky to figure out whether I should stay on campus or near the city center. However, it was the perfect decision to live near the city center as a Master's student to have the ideal experience. Another challenge I faced was deciding which accommodation would be most ideal (given the similar price range) James House or The Exchange as they are both very well located.
• It is a 20-30 minute bus ride and most of the Indian students end up living around the city centre because its more convenient to travel every day if you have a part-time job or if you freely want to explore the city.

• It has not been 6 months since our house was completed. I did apply to a lot of jobs online for the last 3-4 months I was in the UK but the rejections came in mainly due to preference over locals who do not need a sponsored visa to stay and work.
• Theoretically, one can expect 50-75K annually as an MBA graduate in Bath, Bristol, or London but since the economy has taken a hit, getting a lower-paying job is highly probable.
• Networking and referrals are the best ways to get a job in the UK. Just applying to random jobs does not work out.
• In my cohort, roughly 60% have secured employment outside of the UK (in their respective countries). Out of the 40% of international students who are in the UK, around 5-10% have secured job offers in the UK.

• I applied to over 20 business schools in the UK.
• The universities I got rejections from are as follows: University of Leeds, Aston Business School, Kingston University, University of Stirling, University of Liverpool, University of Glasgow. The rejection was mainly due to a lack of business or managerial experience in my CV. These universities mainly look for 3-5 years of managerial experience. I had roughly 4 years of experience (includes lead experience but not managerial).
• I applied to these universities apart from the above: University of Bath, Lancaster University Management School, University of Strathclyde, Durham University, University of Birmingham, University of Sheffield, University of Nottingham, Loughborough University, Cardiff University, University of Surrey, Brunel Business school, Queen's University Belfast, Birmingham City University, Buckinghamshire New University, University of westminister, Hult business school, University of East Anglia, Bangor University, University of Sussex.
• While most of the universities did not reply, I got offer letters from the following: University of Surrey, Brunel Business school, Lancaster University, Queen's University Belfast, University of Bath, Bangor University, Hult business school.
• Here are the factors I considered while choosing Bath over others: QS ranking of the university, proximity to major cities like London, university reputation, extra-curricular activities, scholarship, no hard need to write GMAT, career prospects, multi-project suite and reviews from alumni.
• Once applied and waited for 10 days, I got an email for the first round of interviews which was more of a culture fit interview, explaining my professional experience and intention to do an MBA. After a week I got selected for the second round which was with the career head, where they will assess if MBA is the right way and how they can help us achieve it. Got the conditional letter after two weeks or so. There was a video submission done to apply for a scholarship (optional).
• If the candidate's professional experience suffices, they do not ask for a GMAT but an IELTS score of 7 or above is a must. It was very smooth and probably one of the fastest ones comparing to other universities.
• September 2023 intake was the one I planned for. In the UK, there are generally 2 intakes: September and January, only 5-10% of all universities have Jan intake which is a selected list of good colleges.
• I wanted to do an MBA to start my own business in the future. Due to rising competition in India, the best way for me to do this was through an international MBA. Overall, the timeline was spread out over 2 months. From the initial date of application, to the unconditional letter.

All throughout the year, the university had 2 events related to careers, out of which not even one event had companies that recruit or hire for jobs related to my field.

I chose this university based on its ranking in my field and based on how they had advertised their teaching and course curriculum. Overall, the experience has been decent with respect to academics, but not that great when it comes to marking for exams/ assignments.

Many MNCs visit the company, and the university has its own careers page website where other companies list their jobs, and that’s how I chose a job.  The average salary is around $25,000.

The ranking of the university, the reviews from previous students, and the career prospects made me choose this university and the particular program. The overall experience of my study time at the University of Bath was top notch. Ever since the first day, my professors laid down a clear path of study and how the curriculum would progress. There were several social events to make friends at, which made it easy to make friends. The university hosted frequent career events to interact with recruiters, build connections and get to know more about the jobs. The university allowed us to choose the subjects and modules we wanted based on our interests and we were well informed about each module.  We also had the option to choose a practice track to gain real world knowledge by working with companies.

In terms of placement, you have to search and apply for jobs on your own. Though the university helps and guide you properly for each and every steps related to job search, making CVs and how to prepare for interview, the university also have these career fairs where multiple companies comes and have their stalls and informs students to job process. Average salary starts from 25000 pounds also depends on roles and sector.

The overall experience was great and it really developed me a lot, in terms of way of thinking, positive mindset and how to create a good work culture and environment. The course gave me a lot of learning and some very good and big projects including team work and individual aspects of striking them. There were some challenges and problems too, but with the support of faculties and a good environment, I tackled everything and successfully completed everything with so much of excitement and experience.

Pretty good. Don't have a number. But the Uni is 7th in UK when it comes to graduate employment. Better to take courses with Placement - average GBP 20k. But you can apply for graduate schemes (30k avg) and graduate roles (>30k) which are more competitive. However, you can apply for other jobs as well. Would be great to network with people goes a long way. Not so sure about the research opportunities but I heard it's pretty good.

To start a new life in a new country and pursue a career in Data Science. The program offers a 1 year placement for the MSc Data Science program which is basically a year long entry level role but it is competitive and you need to apply to secure a placement. The university is very well reputed and has a great CS department with amazing employment prospects and careers service team.

The university helps in job applications and preparation of interviews. There will be career fair once or twice a year where you can get to know the company and apply for placements. Average salary for data scientist for placement can be £18,000 per annum and for graduate jobs £27,000-£30,000 per annum.

University of Bath is one of the best university in UK for Data Science with good ranking. The curriculum provided by the university is really good which covers almost every topic in data science. The deep learning and reinforcement learning modules would be very helpful and not included in most of the other universities. The course had 2years of course including placement which I thought would be beneficial for getting job in new country.

Placements opportunities are very good here after completion of course and good jobs offers are offered to the students.

I wished to study abroad and previously I visited this university once so I wished to study here.

Really good - With businesses wanting new ideas from their employees entrepreneurship is a good way to really to think about new opportunities. The world needs job creators , not job seekers and entrepreneurs are the ones who will come up with new ideas to create the jobs. Median Salary - $30000 per annum. Prior to getting placed it takes time to really figure what kind of job it is you are looking for and its long but a very necessary process to go through. Placement team helps to prepare you for the same.

The course modules were really interesting to me, especially since I had done similar subjects in my under graduation. With relevant topics in todays day and age , it was a step up from what I had learned and how I have to apply it in my work life as I begin working in my family business and look for new opportunities as and how I take over the business. In a post-covid world having these techniques to think and look at opportunities in different ways will help stand out from the crowd.
