Faculty, Course Structure, and Exam System Review The faculty members in our college are generally qualified and experienced, though the teaching quality varies from subject to subject. The approximate faculty-to-student ratio is around **1:20 to 1:30**, which is decent for maintaining interaction. Most faculty members are approachable and willing to help students outside lecture hours, especially during exams or project work. Some of the best faculty members include those who focus on conceptual clarity and real-life applications rather than just textbook teaching. For example, professors who use practical examples, diagrams, and interactive sessions tend to make learning more engaging and understandable. These faculties are also supportive during doubts and encourage students to ask questions. However, there are a few faculty members who rely heavily on traditional teaching methods like dictation or PPT reading, which makes lectures less interesting. Some are less approachable, and students hesitate to ask doubts due to strict behavior or lack of interaction. This creates a gap in learning for some students. ### Course Structure The course curriculum is moderately relevant to current industry needs. Core subjects provide a strong theoretical foundation, but in some cases, the syllabus feels outdated and lacks modern technologies or practical exposure. More focus on hands-on learning, projects, and real-world applications would improve the overall effectiveness of the course. ### Exam System and Marking Scheme The exam system typically includes: * **Internal exams (mid-sem or unit tests)** * **Assignments and practicals** * **Final semester exams (external exams)** The marking scheme is a combination of internal assessment and external exam performance. Internal marks usually include att

The library has a decent collection of books and journals, accessible to most students. Classrooms are equipped with basic digital tools like projectors. Faculty to students ratio of good. I mean the student strength is huge like 997 for just Bcom Honours but we have many teachers in our commerce department who are highly qualified, good in teaching, helpful & are available when we ask any help for notes or doubts near our exams. They guide us in all the possible ways. There are many faculties who are nice. I can't take 2-3 names. Majority are great teachers. I am regular to the college & I get to learn the concepts very clearly. Just because of excessive state government Holidays & exam holidays, we get less classes otherwise college classes were sufficient. There are generally 2 exams per semester. 1 internal 1 credit (25 marks) & 1 external 3 credit (75 marks). The fail ratio of moderate. Neither too high neither too low. The exams are generally easy just the paper checking is a bit strict. The course is very relevant for our future especially for students who want to built their career in Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Accountancy, Taxation, Marketing,etc....
I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

The faculties are approachable and every 10 to 15 students have one faculty they can talk to. The faculties that provided practical examples were my most favorite, also who made sessions interactive took our opinions in sessions and gave feedbacks on our thoughts. Course has trimester pattern with 3 semester exams every year. Very few students fail who actually not our efforts in studying. Course curriculum is up to date
The curriculum is up to date based on current industry trends. The teachings taught on how our day to day worklife should look like, what we should improve in ourselves. The faculties that make sessions less attractive and just give lectures should adopt to new ways of teaching give more examples make sessions interesting to keep the attention of students intact.
