- Sometimes the washroom were not kept clean which was fault of students
- I wanted some practical experience on how the theories were actually applied in the work setting
- As we sit for most of our day in the college meditation, exercise and sports session could have been organised to keep us active throughout the day
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up to date based on current industry trends. The teachings taught on how our day to day worklife should look like, what we should improve in ourselves. The faculties that make sessions less attractive and just give lectures should adopt to new ways of teaching give more examples make sessions interesting to keep the attention of students intact.
Internships Opportunities
Flipkart, dmart, axis Bank, gsk, dbur, amul, upwealth were some of the companies that came for internship and also some came with pre placement opportunities. We had to do summer internship project as per the internships with did with duely assigned mentor to us who guided us through the way out
Placement Experience
We have to complete two months internship after our first year after which we can convert these internships into jobs and thus get placed as well. Around 50 percent students are currently placed. We can search for jobs on our own and well go for placements via college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees structure was 350000 per year coming to 700000 for two years of PGDM course. Around 25000 from which was of tution fees. There were no other charges. I have got a scholarship of 24750 in my second year.
Campus Life
Notes are provided time to time. Suggestion of books are also given to get more information on the subjects. The classrooms are equipped with digital cameras, ACs, with proper lighting and fans with windows to get natural light as well and there are smart LEDs in the classroom which can be used while teaching and presentations
Admission
I looked into khalsa college, and kohinoor college other than the college I am currently in. I chose this college as it had similar fees comparing to both earlier colleges but had international and national trips(industrial visits) with same fees which other 2 didn't have. I didn't get rejected from those colleges I chose this one as it have up to date curriculum and international trip involved without any extra charges other than fees. I had an interview with placement coordinator before getting selected at the college and also gave CET exams.
Faculty
The faculties are approachable and every 10 to 15 students have one faculty they can talk to. The faculties that provided practical examples were my most favorite, also who made sessions interactive took our opinions in sessions and gave feedbacks on our thoughts. Course has trimester pattern with 3 semester exams every year. Very few students fail who actually not our efforts in studying. Course curriculum is up to date
Night Life
There are cafeteria and gym around the surrounding of college. Also beach side view is available at walking distance. Malls and shopping centers are also accessible within few kms. It's a well known busines hub with aqualine accessibility
