One of the best technical institute in India. The only problem may arise is regular increase in the fees which sometimes degrade the quality of students. Other than this transportation problem may arise because this college is situated in the very far area of low connectivity.

Course curriculum is widely diverse. You have flexibility for choosing your own timetable and professor and their is no attendance policy in BITS. Exams are on both regular and final basis. There are regular tutorial examination and class surprise quiz. Other then this there may be common tests as well. Then there are mid semester exams and final comprehensive examination having most weightage of the course

Placement division is the best in the whole campus. It is the placement division which makes this college as a top private institute of India. Packages had been touched upto about 15 million rupees. Most of the students gets a high paying jobs at initial stages. There is policy for atleast two internships for a student and it is provided by the college itself. First internship is for 50 days while the other one is paying internship for 6 months. Stipends vary from nil to upto 1.25 lakh rupees.

There are three major events and uncountable minor events across a year. Three major events are: BOSM, a sports festival, Oasis, a cultural festival, and Apogee, a technical festival in chronological order in an academic year.

It is a little expensive as compared to other colleges in the country but they have provided many scholarships on the basis of CGPA. You can avail them and complete your education at lower rates. Other then this you can go for bank loans which are worth taking as you will get no such experience in any other College in India and also the placement packages are air high which can cover the whole loan in about two to there years.

There are three major scholarships in the college afaik. Merit scholarship: based on the CGPA of upto 8.7 you can avail upto 80% of the scholarship on the tuition fees. Merit cum need scholarship: Again based on the CGPA upto 6 and if your family annual income is less then 1 million rupees a year, you can get this scholarship. This waive off upto 80 % of the tuition fees from your semester's expense chart.

There are lot of labs for each stream of student interested in any technical, scientifical, or pharmaceutical field. These labs are well equipped and having lab attends interested to help the students any time. For extra curriculars there is a ground big enough for football, hockey or cricket practices. For other games there is this student activity centre which comprises every games starting from badminton to chess. There also exists regular classes for taekwando and Gym facility. Also there exists lots of club and department to develop you socially in any way possible.

Hostels are compulsory to opt for. They are good infrastructured with all the facilities available. Starting from high speed internet to hygienic food and clean toilets you will get single or double occupancy rooms as per your year in college.

BITS alumni network is to string and widely diversed across the globe. Students from here are successful entrepreneurs, professors in great technical institutions, politicians, government officers, high post holders in different MNCs etc

BITSAT, entrance exam taken for graduation courses. Applicants are shortlisted according to their score and then they are given the seat in to their preferred choice of stream according to the availability of the seats.

They are faculties with lot of experience and research oriented. Every one is having a doctorate degree in their respective field. Some of them are from reputed institutions like Massachusetts institute of technology. Every one is having a lot of papers published in some reputed journals and leading conferences.
