College Review

College is quite good in terms of the campus, college is also lenient in terms of attendance as this gives more time to prepare for competitive examination for students. Infrastructure can be more improved.

Course Curriculum is bit outdated as they are following syllabus of 2009-10 of AKTU (which is the university to which it is affiliated). There are two class test per semester for each subject and then there is final exam at the end of each semester. Practical exams are done before final exams.

No, college doesn't provide any kind of internship as far as i know. Placement in computer science and information technology is quite good but for core branches like mechanical, civil etc there is hardly any placement opportunity. There is a cell named Training and Placement cell which works for such purpose.

There are many events organised in college. Abhinandan- cultural fest in which participants are first year. Utsav- Cultural fest in which participants are both first and second year. There are various councils like literary sub council, fine and arts which regularly organises some events. Technical fest are also organised which is very awesome.

It is an government funded autonomous school. The annual fee is approx 1 Lakh per year including hostel and mess. It is affordable as scholarship are also provided to weaker section by government of Uttar Pradesh.

Students having annual income below 2 lakh are eligible for scholarship. They can apply for scholarship online by havinv required documents and approved by students. State government provides scholarship to such candidates.

Labs are well equipped for computer science department, not much aware about othet streams. We have latest desktops with updated software. For sports we have a building named Student Activity Centre where there is court of basketball and for badminton completely wooden floored. There is a room for table tennis and a gym is also there. For outdoor sports, we have a large ground for cricket and football.

Hostels are bad in terms of infrastructure as they are built very long time ago. Water shortage is a common issue. However we are now having nwe hostels which have very good rooms. Internet facility is awesome, fastest I have seen.

Seniors of this college are good, they help you whenever you ask them for help. Seniors which i know were always helpful and they used to talk with patience and used to tell about how to study and how to tackle any problem

There is an entrance exam named UPSEE conducted by state government of Uttar Pradesh after 10+2. According to rank secured in the exam, I got admission here for B.Tech course in computer science stream.

Faculty is not upto that mark. We should be more on our own rather than depending on them. However new recruited teachers are quite good in terms of knowledge and they teach in a good way. But i think there is still scope of improvement.
