Remarks

If one needs good marks in the college, this college is for him. But however if you cannot get pass marks in the tests, then there is no way that you live a happy college life. Yes, they give respect to your passion, but only when you meet the basic academic requirements

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The coure curriculum focuses on the theoretical foundation of the engineering. It teaches us basics of the subjects in the beginning years and later it reaches to the advanced levels and management subjects over the last two years. There will be three internals tests on the successive months for one semester exams.

Placement Experience

4

The placements in the college is primarily focussed on the departments of computer science engineering, Electronic, Electrical engineering. More number of IT companies visit the campus for recruitment. In the case of mechanical engineering, only very few company visits are the core. Marketing companies do come and provide greater packages. Considering the internship, they are provided only for the final year students. depending upon the job role and company the stipend and period varies from ?3000-?15000 per month and 1-6 months.

College Events

3

The college celebrates almost every functions happening in the state as well as country. This includes Pongal celebration, which is the best of the best, independence day, republic day, engineers day and so on. There will also be the club day celebrations and the annual day for every year. It is also to be noted that Hostel day celebration happens specially for the hostelites. This event goes on till midnight which includes Dj Music, Food, Fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is actually feasible. For students who are admitted through counselling window the fees is only fixed by the government. And for the management quota students its bit on a heavier side, which will be expensive by almost 40k to the government quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for students who take up talent test and the scholarship can also be a full fee waiver depending upon the marks scored in talent test. There is also certain scholarships for students who score high cut off marks in the grade 12.

Campus Life

5

There are lot of clubs ranging from music, dance, cricket etc. The lab facilities in the college is topnotch. All the necessary machines and tools cab be found inside the labs. The college also encourages the students to take part in various culturals across different colleges.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, I'm not a hostellite. But however to my knowledge the hostel fees including the food is somewhere around 70k for a year. The hostel rooms are 4 share basis. There is also gym and court facilities for the students

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini network is not to that much extent. Only now the college is trying to get accessed with the alumini. The senoir students do provide certain inputs to the juniors on the curriculum as well as the outer real world

Admission

The main process of getting into the college is through counseling based on the 12th grade cut-off. The cut-off is calculated based on the marks of mathematics, chemistry, physics cumulatively. So i filled the counselling form online and waited for the date of counselling. On the date of counselling, there were different colleges under the University. I chose this college for my preference.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties here are both experienced and freshers. The difference is that only experienced faculties teaches the foundation subjects. They are strictly mark oriented. However they seem to provide assistance in anytime for a student
