Course Curriculum Overview
I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.
Fees and Financial Aid
Before joining, the fee was honestly one of the first things I checked. The regular BTech tuition fees is around 4 lakh per year, so it's around 16lakh for the full course. There's also a one time registration fee. What really helped me was understanding the scholarship part. Your NAT score can help you get a scholarship so not everyone ends up paying the same fee. That's why I would say don't get scared after seeing the full fee. First check what scholarship you qualify for , you might end up paying much less than you expected
Campus Life
Even though I am only in my first year I have really enjoyed campus life. It was easy to make friends because everyone was new and open to meeting new people. I have taken part in a few club activities and workshops which made college life more fun and helped me interact with seniors as well. After classes, we usually hang out at the cafe, spend time in library. The campus is clean and has good classrooms, labs, WiFi, hostel facilities and plenty of open spaces. Overall it feels like a comfortable place where you can study, make friends, and enjoy college life at the same time
Admission
When I was looking at different colleges, I wanted a place where I could actually learn and not just attend class for four years. What attracted me to this place was the focus on practical learning, coding, and projects from the beginning. I also liked the campus environment and the scholarship opportunities through the NAT. After comparing a few colleges, this one felt like the best balance of academics, skill development and afforso I decided to join
Faculty
As a first year student I found the faculty to be very approachable. Since everything was new to me, I had a lot of questions in the beginning and the teachers were patient enough to explain things without making me feel uncomfortable. They don't just rush through the syllabus but they make sure we understand the basics before moving ahead. I also like that they are encouraging and keep motivating us to participate in projects and improve our skills.
Night Life
We mostly hangout on campus itself after classes. The campus cafe is the most common spot where everyone meets for snacks and long conversations. The library is another place where we end up spending time, especially during group study sessions. In the evenings, a lot of us head to the gym, sports areas, or just sit around the open spaces on campus. There are also a few cafes and food outlets around Rajarajeshwari Nagar and Mysore Road where students go on weekends.
