Remarks

The college run by muslim management. So, most of the people believe this college is only for Muslims and the management won't allow non- Muslim students for more time. It's like myth. It's not true. But the securities from the college having some moral policing mind. They won't let boys and girls to mingle closer.

4.5

It is an autonomous college. More than 1500 students studying there. Since they are autonomous college their exams keep good standards and valuation is accurate. There is two CAT exams which is internal tests before final exam.

It is an arts and science college. So, there is not much need of internships and everything. They provide national and international seminars for students. Though they are not providing any stipends. They help students to get scholarships.

College itself doesn't provide any scholarships. But, they accept government scholarship. Such as E- Grants etc. And faculties help students to get other scholarships such as, inspire, prathibha etc. And many of my friends got scholarships frim there. Even i got a scholarship.

They are really good in all kind of extracurricular activities. They have three NCC groups and one NSS (National Service Scheme) which is in good condition. They are the champions in most of the inter college arts and sports fest. Nobody could defeat farook college baseball team yet.

I haven't stayed in hostel but there is 2+ hostels for mens and 3+ hostel for womens. The hostels are old. Though having a good infrastructure. And boys hostels having a common mess which provide good food.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a group called FOSA. Farook old students association. Almost all alumnus from farook college are part of it. They even conduct meet up programme every year in the college. And most of them are highly reputed people in the soceity

Admission

Admission is by merit process. There is management quota is also there. Management quota for NRIs etc. Admission is mainly by merit basis, which means based on the mark. First they will collect the mark details from students then they allot students with good quality by 2 normal allotments and one spot allotment.

Faculty

4.5

Teachers are really good and helping. Apart from other colleges they teach classes like every hour and even take special classes in holidays. Student's future is their main aim. They cover every chapter in the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

I am a chemistry lover. I want to become a chemist. That why I am passionately choose this course. Sree Narayana College, Cherthala was my first option. Their previous year pass percentage is the main attraction to me. There are 38 students in my class. And overall 100-110 students in my department. In our college, other 4 department has Chemistry as complementary course. There are 6 teachers in my department. 4 of them had PhD. One s registered for PhD. They are very brilliant and friendly teachers. The help us verymuch to improve our knowledge and cracking competitive examinations. They taught very well. Laboratory experience is the main attraction of SN college. They provide beautiful lab section. After I passed out, college offered a post graduation. All the 6 semester exams was undertaken by University if Kerala in regular intervals. EXAMINATIONS and Result publications are very well maintained by The University. We are really comfortable.
