Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is relevant and covers both theory and practical concepts. It prepares students well for jobs and higher studies. Exams are held every semester with internals and are moderately difficult. More industry projects would improve learning.
Internships Opportunities
As a Ph.D. scholar, internship opportunities are not a mandatory part of the program. Instead, the focus is on research projects, publications, teaching assistance, and collaborations with research organizations. Some scholars receive research fellowships or stipends through funded projects. The work mainly involves conducting experiments, data analysis, writing research papers, presenting at conferences, and contributing to ongoing research, which helps build strong academic and research skills.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent but depend on the branch and individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies from IT, core, and service sectors visit the campus, with average packages around ₹4–6 LPA and higher packages for top performers. Around 60–75% of eligible students get placed. I plan to secure a good job through campus placements while continuing to improve my technical and communication skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
i pay arround 1.2 lac per year, there are scholarship to students too based on there academic record. Based on there percentage in previous coruse they get scholarship but with some criteria like you have to mentain your percentage.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant and enjoyable, with a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Annual cultural and technical fests are usually organized between February and April. The library offers a wide range of books and journals, classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors, and the campus provides good indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Students can actively participate in technical clubs, cultural societies, and social groups, which help improve leadership, teamwork, communication, and overall personality development.
Admission
I chose this college because it offered a good balance of academics, infrastructure, affordable fees, and placement opportunities compared to other colleges I considered. The admission process was simple and based on entrance exam/counselling followed by document verification. The overall experience was smooth and hassle-free, with supportive staff throughout the admission process.
Faculty
The faculty is supportive and approachable, with a good faculty-student ratio. The curriculum is industry-relevant. Each semester has internal assessments, practicals, and end-semester exams. Exams are moderately difficult, and most students pass with regular study.
Night Life
As a day scholar, I don't stay in the hostel, so I cannot comment on hostel timings. The campus is generally active until the evening, with the library, cafeteria, and gym closing by evening hours. Students usually relax at nearby cafés, restaurants, and public parks after classes. The surrounding area is fairly safe during the evening, though it's always advisable to avoid late-night outings alone. These hangouts provide a good opportunity to socialize and unwind after a busy academic day.
