Course Curriculum Overview
Research remains the primary focus of our course with the development of novel formulations, drug delivery systems, and nanotherapeutics that overcome the previous research gaps. Attending conferences and presenting our work promotes self-confidence and confidence in our work.
Placement Experience
Although after PhD students explore job opportunities accordingly, the master's and bachelor's students get the opportunity to sit in the placements. Various companies visit the university for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences is 84000/semester and 168000 on a yearly basis. Individuals can opt for scholarships based on interviews (25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%). Further, the university provides contingency for the expenditures you require during your research.
Campus Life
There are various clubs for students, including dancing, yoga, modeling, sports, social work etc. The student can opt for the clubs according to their interest. There is also availability of NCC and NSS.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are well-equipped with all necessary facilities. The quality of food is good. At night, there is availability of security guards and medical services. The cleaning staff is also very kind and punctual.
Admission
Shoolini University is among the highest-ranked universities globally. Before enrolment, I visited the university to assess the quality of education and research. After having a conversation with the faculty of my field (pharmaceutics), I applied to the university. I also secured scholarship after conduction of an interrview regarding my previous research.
Faculty
University faculty are very supportive. I'm currently working on my research under the supervision of Dr. Hemlata Kaurav, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her constant guidance, field expertise, and support make my journey easy. Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, despite being busy with departmental work, helps the students with their issues and resolves them as soon as possible. Other departmental faculties and faculties of other departments are also very helpful and kind.
Night Life
The campus is very safe and well-lit at night with security guards on duty at various checkpoints. University hostels have facility of night guards, 24 hour availability of caretakers and medical facilities.
