My Experience at GLA University

The curriculum is Industry oriented includes both theoretical and practical subjects which help students build strong technical skills .Subjects related to programming projects and modern technologies make it relevant to placements and internships exams are conducted through class tests, mid terms and end terms difficulty is moderate.

GLA University provides decent internship opportunities the universities training and placement cell regularly share internship opportunities many people get internships at various companies like Amazon,Microsoft , Flipkart some are paid while some unpaid but better for learning. Students also work on projects under guidance of various mentors whether it be in any domain full stack, Data science or any domain students are provided proper supersvision as well as compulsion to do projects.

After the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. More than 650 companies did visit last year the highest package is 64 lakh with avg package being 8.1 lpa and 90%+ placement percentage . A good number of students get placed every year particularly who are good at coding skills ,internships , communication skills. The placement cell is active and reguarly organizes drive and training program.

The year wise fees increases by 15k every year starting with 185000 till 230000 in the fourth year . The examination fee is 7000. There are vatious types of Scholarships available. Merit based 95%> 50000/INR 90%> 33000/INR 80%> 25000/INR along with it jee marks based 95%> 90%tuition fee waiver 90%> 75% tuition fee waiver 85%> 25% tuition fee waiver UP scholarships too

campus life at GLA is quite active and engaging the university organizes regular technical and cultural events workshop coding events which helps students improve both technical and social skills . Library is well maintained provides a large collection of books journals research papers and digital resources. Classrooms are equipped with projectors , smart teaching wifi connectivity and and proper lab infrastructure which supports practical learning. There are various clubs for both cultural and technical passion sports music dance cinematography

The rooms are of three different types based on number of people who share the room single double triple(for only 1st year) , along with the room chair, table and rest other things are provided with 24/7 wifi and ro water is provided. The food quality is much better than any other pirvate university with a fixed veg menu. The registeration is simple and done during admission or fee submission. Students can select room types based on choice and availability of rooms.

I chose GLA University mainly because of its placements academic developments affordable fee structure compared to private colleges and strong focus on technical skills and it did provide a better balance between industry exposure and learning. The steps for admission are 1.First fill the application form 2. pay the application fee 3. Attempt the GLAET EXAM 4. wait for results 5. Seat confirmation and document submission 6. Pay the fees

The faculy members are supportive with a ratio of 60:40 students are supervised on every aspect of their journey whether it be placements internships projects classrooms. Faculties like sir Rahul Pradhan are very much concerned about students provide opportunities both for internships projects under his guidance and guidance that students need to erase confusions regarding college. The exams are 2 in one semester mid term and end term and difficulty level is low so that students can put full efforts in their skills rather than skills.

Nightlife is good for students canteens are open till midnight , the college's official GD Subway is open 24/7 students can either study in the library till 3 am and are free to roam in the campus late night. The overall environment is calm and safe for students .
