Review for SGSITS, Indore

Rate of development is very slow either in infrastructure manner or acedmics. Faculties communicate with students but no suggestions are implemented which are given by students. College timing is much with compulsory attendence policy.

My college is autonomous which follow there own curriculum and exam structure which is much better than the university curriculum. They have some advanced subjects and advanced schemes to learn the subject but there is the deficiency of resources in labs and all.

Placement in my college is average. Not all the students get placed and very few companies come for recruitment. In terms of internship college have very less amount of internships and show less interest to increase them. About my experience I want get any internship from my college so no idea about stipend and all.

An annual cultural fest called aayam( which is not regular). An induction program for 1st year Freshers. And many events organise by different clubs of the college like graffaton by art and photography club of college, etc.

In comparison of other government aided colleges it's lil expensive. Our tution fees is 34000 per semester. Our hostel fees is 8600 and mess fees is 12000 per semester. for two branches IT and BME tution fees is more than this.

No scholarship and loan facility provided by college. Only the government scholarship are valid.like medhavi scholarship, central government scholarship and all. There is a tution fee wavier scheme for students who have low family income and good acedmics

Extra curricular activities are less in our college but some are there like inter branch sports, some state level sports, some clubs which represents the college on national level like GSracers, supra, etc.

There are four different building of boys hostel for UG and PG students. And two buildings for girls UG and PG student. First year boys hostel-4/5 Second year boys hostel- 2/5 Third and fourth year boys hostel-3.5/5 PG student boys hostel-3/5

There is alumni student association in our college in which every student registered during there admission time only. Every year alumni week is organised in which old alumni come to college and enjoy the event and provide some help too for college development

I got admission through DTE counselling of MP state based on my JEE Mains marks and rank. There are two rounds of counselling along with a college level round. There are reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC, J&K resident and NRI students

There are two type of faculties. One the permanent and senior faculty which is very good in there knowledge and teaching techniques. They know the core of there subjects and try to deliver all possible things and other one is contracted faculty who are not permanent and they are young.they have less knowledge and experience but they know about the competitive world more than the senior faculty because they had face the situation.
