Remarks

Positive things are, it has got good infrastructure and is located in a calm and serene place. Negative things are, the number of students are less and it does not have NBA accreditation. Therefore it is hard to go for higher studies abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Our curriculum was different and it was kind of a weird one. Recently the curriculum has changed and is said to be better and easy. There are 8 semesters and each semester has 2 internal exams and 1 university exam. Internal exams are eligibility criteria for university exams.

Placement Experience

2.5

The college does not provide any internships. The students should find their on places or companies to complete the internship. It is mandatory to complete atleast one internship. The college staffs may help in finding places to intern

College Events

2.5

Just like other colleges it has arts and sports days. And as usual and being a vital part ,college day is also celebrated every year. Other than that various science and technological events are carried out ,may be by the college or by a certain department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is currently quite feasible. Also if eligible for merit seats and with some central government scholarship, fees aren't a big burden. It may be one of the cheapest private colleges to be in

Fees and Financial Aid

There isn't any scholarships offered by the college. But it is possible to get central government funded scholarships. Loan facilities are also available and the college will cooperate in the procedures to be carried out.

Campus Life

4

They are average. College itself doesn't give much priority to sports and stuff. Even then students can participate and organise events. Also the university has events conducted for inter colleges and this can made use of if someone is interested in sports and related events. Innovative ideas are warm heartedly accepted and assistance is provided. More focus on academics and stuff rather than sports and arts

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am a day scholar. So i don't have an actual living experience to share with. Still from my point of view the hostel infrastructure and facilities are good. Since the number of students are less recently ,there is no issue in getting rooms and so

Alumni/Alumna

Actually there is no direct contact between current students and the pass-outs. Also there is no active or energetic alumni network for the college. Even then some helps are provided through college staffs from the alumni who are placed well.

Admission

I got the admission through the entrance exam conducted by the government of Kerala. Once you make it through the entrance exam, the entrance commission will allot seat to colleges based on the rank you have secured.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is good. They are willing to help. It cannot be generalised actually since various departments has its own type of faculty. So it all depends entirely on the department you opt for. According to my knowledge the best faculty is from electronics department.

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

While the institution does offer placement opportunities, only a portion of the students manage to secure job offers during their final year.
