Remarks

Good infrastructure , friendy faculty , good way of teaching , helps for internships and placements , teaching quality is good , hostel and canteen avaliability is good , good support in sports and extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Semester wise examas are there. 2 series exams will be conducted before university exam. If you got correct internal marks for series exans then you can register for unuversity exams.

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell in our college. they will conduct sessions for personalitu development and grooming for interviews. And there will be good companies who will call students for interviews like TCS, Wipro etc. They will also help in internship programs.

College Events

Ever year there will be a grand onam celebration. A college day celebration will be there it will be vonducted on two days one day some special guests will be ther on the other day students will perform their activities. Then sports day is there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you qualify in KEAM entrance then the fee may range fram 35000 to 50000 a year. For management seats 75000 to 85000. For NRI students ablove one lakh. And cast based scholarships are available for SC, ST stydents.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are avalable for SC ST students and for minor communitu stufmdents. Brilliant students will get some stiphends. Education loan can be taken for studues. It will be available in low intersts.

Campus Life

Activiteies include arts, sports and science fairs. Every year there will be grand onam clebration and college days. Sports day will be conducted as part of college day. And students will get chance to participate in universitysports meet. Labs are available for all branches with good performing machines.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is a heaven. there is no big reztrictions. We have alla the facilities include computer, internet, water will be availabke for 24 hours. We can choose the room. Single room, Two people, three people rooms and four people rooms are available. Food is also homely food.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Yes , they will help you in studies , doubt clearences , helps in internships and projects , they will help in case we need texts or notes , they will give advices in studies as well as for projects.

Admission

The admission for Sarabhai institute of scirnce and technology college can be done through KEAM entrance exam. management and NRI seats are available for engineering students who didn't got admission through entrance.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
