Remarks

The old building was nice, actually we loved it but they demolished it in 2015 and now has built big building with around 9-10 floors. The new building is magnificent and i am sure any one who is coming to college will like it, Clinical postings will happen in victoria's hospitals and allied hospitals which is a very big positive aspect of this college

Placement Experience

5

internship is for 1 year and we were getting 20000 stipend per month, job opportunities are good but most of the students want to get into post graduation courses. After mbbs we can work in private hospitals or in government hospitals

College Events

3.5

Annual fest is called Cobalt skies is being celebrated every year and is organized by 3 rd year students, it is intercollege fest and students from different colleges come to participate. There are few intra college festival with different names every year and sports events also being conducted

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is affordable, we paid around 16k in cet cell and around 8k in college and every semester we had to pay 8000 and exam fee was around 3k to 4k. Over all it is affordable for even lower middle class people

Fees and Financial Aid

college doesn't offer any scholarship but can avail MHRD scholarship, E pass scholarship, etc Many other organisations are offering scholarships for needy students and you can apply for all of them and can obtain info from websites

Campus Life

3.5

labs are pretty good but bit old but the teachers teaches pretty well and there is no problem Extra curricular activities are in the form of intra college and inter college fests like cobalt skies Sport events are conducted once in a year

Hostel Facilities

3

new hostel is good, there are separate hostel for boys and girls and they are at walkable distance from college. There is mess in hostel which provides food, hostel is free but have to pay security deposit

Alumni/Alumna

there is BMC alumni association in the college which conducts lectures, seminars and other activities Senior students are very helpful and ragging is not there in the college as there are strict orders from dean cum director not to get involved in ragging Seniors clear your doubt's and help you in all aspects

Admission

Karnataka CET, got 109th rank in 2011 and got seat in this college, we paid certain amount in CET cell and remaining in college, course fee is affordable and college is very prestigious. It is the best government medical college in karnataka

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
