Coming to the positive side of VIT, it has a large diversity where you can find all kinds of people. It has many clubs, Coming to the negative side VIT has a busy schedule where students don't find some free time for themselves.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good. we have an FFCS system to set our own timetable and choose any faculty. We basically have 2 CAT exams that fall under the category of internal exams, one final exam which we call FAT. Each course or subject has its own components like lab, project, only theory. In addition to CAT exams and FAT exams we even have Digital assignments and quiz.
Placement Experience
According to my knowledge, placements and job opportunities are good. Our college even conducts practice exams in order to train students. We even have a Softskills course which will enhance your personality skills which are helpful for an interview.
College Events
We basically have two big fests which are conducted in VIT. One is Gravitas, the other one is Riviera. During Gravitas VIT conducts many technical events whereas Riviera VIT conducts various cultural events like DJ,sahithi, and many others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If we get a seat in the first category then it is fair. In other cases like getting a seat in some other categories other than 1st category will become a financial burden for middle-class parents. Even hostel fees add up to your tuition fee if you are preferring to stay in a hostel.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know of any kind of loan facility offered by the college. But coming to the scholarship, VIT provides you some scholarships every year based on your cgpa, attendance, as well as your performance in some extracurricular activities, like sports, singing, and many others.
Campus Life
Coming to the labs, we are provided with the best labs. The labs in VIT have all the required equipment which are necessary for students as well as Ph.D. scholars. Coming to the extracurricular activities we have many clubs. For sports, we have many grounds in VIT.
Hostel Facilities
Even the hostel fee is lumpsum. They offer us one, two, three, four as well as six bedded rooms. In addition to these, we have AC as well as non AC rooms. If you are a fresher then you are free to choose any room based on your preferences. If you're a Senior then you will be given a room based on your CGPA.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are really helpful to us. They are really kind as well as friendly. They even assist us in some academic activities. Even they guide us in our mini-projects. First of all, no senior dares to rag a junior in vit.
Admission
Admission is based on our 12th marks. The ranking system is purely based on the marks scored in Physics, Maths, and chemistry in intermediate board exams. In addition to this, our college has a unique system under which we have 3 categories. Based on our marks we will be offered a seat in one of these categories.
Faculty
In one word my opinion on the faculty of our college is "good".Most of the faculty will be friendly with students. Even some faculty assist us to the core. Some faculty even spend their free time to help and assist us.
