The college provides a good transport facility with buses covering many areas of Hyderabad and nearby regions, making daily travel safe, convenient, and time-saving for students.
Supportive faculty (few departments) Some faculty members are genuinely helpful and explain concepts well, especially in core subjects. They are approachable if you ask doubts sincerely.
One of the best things about the college is the friends you make here. You meet people from different backgrounds, which helps in building strong friendships, teamwork, and support during academics, exams, and college life overall.

Dislikes

Strict rules which includes regarding attendance, dressing
Frequent pressures regarding submission of assignments etc
Very minimal placements there are no placements

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum follows the jntuh syllabus which covers all code subjects required for academic foundation.the curriculum is mostly theoretical .the subjects include all the core branches syllabus in first year

My overall experience with campus life at marri laxman reddy institute of technology and management has been positive as well as negative upon the fest.annual and technical fests will be conducted during March and April of the year

I chose marri laxman reddy institute of technology and management.ihave got sone high rank in eamcet for my rank I have received this college .i applied to multiple engineering colleges through ts EAMCET.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:64 which is reasonable for private engineering college.most classes are manageable in size but if there is full strength in class it won't be sufficient .faculty will be accordingly some are cooperative

Night Life

The nightlife around marri laxman reddy institute of technology and management is relatively calm and it is primarily college campus with a focus on academics.my college doesn't have hostel we have hostel in first campus

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program,data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual,lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself.In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

I applied to several colleges in telengana throught emcet. I also explored many private colleges and few collegs offered CSE alligned and I received confirmed admission from MLRITM through convenor quota.I applied to had higher cutoff for CSE to my rank the seats are limited, I could not secure admission there. In some colleges so I had to chose MLRITM over other colleges it offered my prefered branch with a reasonable fee structure. when i compared to other colleges MLRITM provided good balance, location,facilities while some colleges have higher fees and less facilities compared to MLRITM .the structured academic system at mlritm also influenced my decision. the admission process at mlritm is simple and clear . for B.tech students must pass 10 plus 2 with mpc . the main exam is accepted is TS eamcet, which is perferred by most students. The actual truth about MLRITM.

The other colleges where I got the confirmed admission was CMR technical campus and Vidya Jyothi institute of technology. The reason why I chose my current college is because Vidya Jyothi institute of technology was quite far from my house so there was a lot of travel time due to which I didn't select that college. I didn't go to CMR technical campus is because I didn't get the course of my wish in that campus so I didn't accept that college as well. I wasn't rejected from any other colleges. I got my college seat through the TS EAMCET counselling based on my rank. It's the most preferred exam for admission in Hyderabad colleges. The cutoff is quite good and can be achieved using some preparation. The overall admission process is also quite good and simple....Read More
