Remarks

An excellent college in south India for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college has got one of the largest libraries in south India. There is a lot of teaching and non teaching staffs who are also very kind.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course and exams are performed strictly on the date previously scheduled. It was told that there was no change for it since last 7 years. The college is under calicut university but it is autonomous.

Placement Experience

2

No there is no placement or internship for this course. Since it is a bsc degree will have to do the pg or turn to any other cpurses for which a degree is required. There is a lot of opportunities for this course. You may have to explore it

College Events

5

There is a lot of events celebrated every year. Actually every international and national days are celebrated. A part from these there is a unique day for each departments. But these celebrations actually do not affect the course or curriculum

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are feasible. There is a lot of scholarship provided by the management. And if your parents income is less than 1 lakh you will get a great reduction in the fees. If you need hostel facility you will have to pay for it too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The kerala government is providing scholarships through egrants. You can apply it through http://egrantz.kerala.gov.in/. In this site you can apply with an aadhaar card. You will have to submit documents such as income , cast , etc which I have previously mentioned.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is good at extracurricular activities. The college has a very large ground which can be used wisely. They also has a large auditorium for stage programs. There is separate buildings for each departments. In each of these they have large labs.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very friendly. Initially they will have a superiority and gradually it changes. They are all helpful in curricular and extracurricular activities. Actually we are in a great campus

Admission

We have to create a cap id through the site ugcap. Selection will be made strictly on merit of +2. There is a series of 3 allotment s and a spot allotment.

Faculty

4

I have experience only in the zoology department. The faculty of this department are very good. The department also gives a phd doctorate. So there is no need of worry about the faculty. I am sure that we will have a well experienced faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
