Course Curriculum Overview
LPU was first in my sight and then I chose the course. LPU took an online coaching where they educated students about all their programs and the future prospects of each. Luckily CSE rules that chart even more than AI or Management programs. So, when you have a clear picture in front of you, it makes things easier for you to decide what you want to pursue.
Placement Experience
I am placed and so are around 600 students of 2026 batch. Around 1100 students applied and 55% of them are already placed and placements are still going on. So, even if I take a conservative idea, I think around 800 or more probably will be placed from LPU CSE program this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
LPU Jalandhar is definitely one of the largest players in education in India. Fees also not high and reserved category students like me also get substantial scholarships as well. The actual fees which general category students have to pay if they don't qualify for any scholarships is 2.3 lakhs. I have enrolled under SC quota and thus my fees is 1.8 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
LPU promotes India first and then the humanity. Around 1000 foreign students studying here and therefore the fest is called One India One World. Indian all culture are showcased and also foreign students are urged to show what they have to showcase. Even food competition and all and students here live with utmost peace with other. Campus is so big that it has taken me a lot of semester to see the entire campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are like an appartment here as most rooms here are offered with a balcony. Yes use of electronic personal items apart from hair dryer is restricted. Also, rooms can be checked at any point as there are few things which are just not allowed here like carrying alcohol or anything. Food served is pure veg and it is healthy, tasty and filling too.
Admission
I applied at GEU and Integral Universities and both were ready for my confirmation. The fees, overall students reviews and many such things i reviewed. GEU has matched LPU with placements but definitely not in terms of campus and fees as LPU has half the fees GEU charges and facilities 100 times bigger than them. LPU Nesy entrance is the way of getting into LPU.
Faculty
LPU faculties probably have seen more world than the world itself. I always pinch myself when I ask them toughest of questions and without referring they answer that with ease. Our course is definitely tough and exams are even tougher but our premiere faculties have ensured that least students fail.
Night Life
Even boys hostel here are so tricky that 8 om is the deadline of getting back to the campus. However, why do one has to go out as what it is which our campus don't have. Coffee shops, cafes, stationery shops, general store and a modern market too. Even bank is there inside so even if one doesnt hangout off campus, they can still have enough fun.
