Course Curriculum Overview

4

I don't like the syllabus which CCS University has initiated to us. The constitution is the one which should be taught first but they had given us the constitution in 4th or 5th semester. The briefing of depth of the syllabus is good. The teachers provide notes which includes class notes and in-depth notes. They give real example to explain the concept. They are qualified and good teachers for a reason I must say.

Internships Opportunities

5

I have not applied for any internship opportunity available with my college yet as I'm already focused on my preparation for further studies and preparation for examinations. The college although provides and recommend advocates under which we can learn and do internship and they can be from district court, High court and even from supreme court. They also recommends us to any law firm of we want their help in getting an internship

Placement Experience

4

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year I am paying ?62,500 as i got a discount because of good percentage in 12th class. The actual fee for a year was ?68,500 per year. I paid ?6000. For the uniform which is one time payment and is mandatory and ?1500 for the registration. The college provide computer lab facility, libarary, seminar hall, moot court to practice law and court ethics, etc. The fee is increasing as it is ?79,500 this year.

Campus Life

5

I personal enjoy my life in the campus. Earlier I was like why I choose this college but everything changes after 1st year. I enjoy the seminars the visits that college provide which includes jail visits, Courts visit, lab visits etc. the library have a whole set of landmark judgements and various books for educational purposes and for additional information, they have computer too in the library. The smarboards are there in the classes which provide audio virtual learning too. There are different grounds for basketball, football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc. you can also do wrestling as we got that too in the college. There are clubs like environment, cultural, yoga, literary, etc which organise various activities and competitions that can be ok college level or on national level.

Admission

I first decided to go to the lloyd college but I was not sure about that one so I visited other colleges near my house and then I got IIMT. The college have a good infrastructure. The hostel facilities are good. The difference sports grounds, the functiona and the competition, they all were there so overall i loved the infrastructure. For admission, one must visit admission cell where they will talk to teachers and then there you'll fill the form. They will provide you with required information about documents and fee, etc. The admission can be directed without any exams like clat and the college hold exams like sessional which will be conducted for half of the syllabus of one semester and pre university exams for whole syllabus of one semester which are conducted before final end semester exams. Overall the main focus is to give students the experience of writing exams within time and knowing how to write a good answer.

Faculty

5

College have a good experience teachers and they have different ways to teach different students. My favourite one is Rohit sir who use to teach us political science and he left the college. Other who are still there are Tanushree ma'am, Kaushiki Ma'am and ofcourse Rishabh sir. They are the best. The reason is simple that they don't act like superiors although they are superior to us. They act like a big family and ensure we have a secure environment in the college.

Interview Experience

5

The admission cell have teacher who ask few questions just to know if student is aware about reent topics and have basic ability to not get nervous. There is not test, interview or anything is required. An individual has to go to the admission cell and it will be enough for the admission as the admission cell will have a teacher who will give guidelines and whateveyis necessary for admission. The process is simple and not too much difficult.

Night Life

4

The college have a gym for both boys and girls. They have various canteens and ofcourse college mess that will be different for boys and girls. The hostel have rooms which will be with and without ACs and proce for both differ. The hostel have mess facility to healthy food and a clean mess to ensure hygiene. The blue building canteen and grounds behind the temple are the favourite places for all and students can hide there while bunk(if you get caught you will be forced to attend the lecture). Outside college there will be cafes and hotels for sitings and tea coffee. The college campus is available to roam at night but somly during specified times.

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.
