- In my collage i like collage study method , professor are so helping nature , they explain topic very simple and explaining way to understand easily .
- In collage so many workshop and event happen student have better knowledge about law concept because of workshop , moot court and events happen. They increase student speaking skill and collage provide court visit every year to better understanding.
- In my collage the fees structure of collage is very afforadable any middle class person can also pursue law , and every year you get schoolarship that also help to continue your collage. And if you miss your fees they also give you time to repay that
Dislikes
- In my collage the infrastructure of collage is not good , classes are very small and not have many facilities like canteen, medical help and i think in my collage they need to provide basic facility for student to make their collage life easy
- In my collage not have placement option i think they need to provide placement option .
- In my collage i think they need new professors because in my collage only few professors are good in teaching and also they need new professors who comfortable to teach other launagage like hindi english because in collage many studentare non bengali
Course Curriculum Overview
In my collage courses curriculum conduct by Calcutta university, every collage who affiliated with Calcutta university follow Calcutta university curriculum. I choosen BA LLB because in ba llb every semester you learn new law subject and they help you better understand because you have five year times you can learn every law subject very breifly way. I think the curriculum of my law subject is enough to prepare me for real world application because you read every law subject who is important for your real world experience that is the reason i choose this course. I think they need to change repetive topic in semester because of tenure of course i repeated few topic of my subject i think they need to change the few topic of subject they are so repeated. Every year two semester exam i give and semester season is june and December , in june semester exam student have very less time to prepare for exam i think this is a difficult for students for prepare exam in a short time.
Internships Opportunities
In my collage student not get any internship opportunity, student find internship by herself. Right now i am 4th year law student at Shyambazar Law College and i did not recieve any internship opportunity from my collage .
Fees and Financial Aid
Per year as a shayambazar law student batche 2022- 2027 i paid fifty thousand rupees. Per semester i have to pay 25 thousand rupees. Per year i fillup swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship and i got twenty seven thousand five hundred rupess. Tution fees i have to pay twenty five thousand and registration fees i have to pay one thousand rupees and i never pah development fees and lab fees and other compulsory charges and in my collage every year collage fees changes in my admission time i paid twenty five thousand rupees per semester but after my admission new batche semester amount is changed. And schoolarship fir minority and other non muslim student is changed they fillup other form for schoolarship.
Campus Life
My overall experience in my capmus life is good . Every year in my collage many events happens and we get information about other collage event also for participate if student want. In my collage there are many clubs for student and every year many student parts many club performance . In my collage library so many law books present and for every semester student you can easily take a book for your study. My collage infrastructure is a good and not have a fancu teaching method simple blackboard and wooden bench . In my collage have very basic level facilities and not have high level infrastructure and have three campus and every campus have fourt floor with lift with basic amenities. In my collage so may social group run my student they share about event , club performance etc.
Admission
If other student want to admission in Calcutta university they have to give enterence exam and according to their rank they choose collage. In my time i got option for shyambazar law collage and that is the reason for i choose shayambazar law collage and in my admission time because i covid i didn't give enterence exam collages are allocated according to twelve and ten marks. I choosen shyambazar law collage because of this collage fees structure is very affordable , you dont need to pay large amount very basic amount you have to pay . In my collage if other student want admission they have to paas in twelve exam and they have to give enterence exam and given exam they get collage according to how much rank he is get in enterence exam and Calcutta university allocate collages to student.
Faculty
In my collage all faculty members are very helpful and good in teaching , they are very friendly nature, and they help you whenever you need . In my collage every semester hundred plus student have and the ration of faculty is twenty-five plus professors. In my collage faculty members are very helpful in nature , they are also ready to guide you . In my faculty few professors and few faculty member i like because they helped me so many times , whenever i confused for future realted goal they guide me , they show me way , they help me to understand what are the best future option for you after complete your ba llb. And faculty member also help me whenever i miss my exam for some reason they give me another chance for my re exam , they conduct my re exam also. And every year i give internal and external exam and subject depend on semester and in my collage fail ratioa is very less because exam question are relevant to curriculum.
Night Life
My collage area locality is very safe ,you can walk ans roaming alone without any fear . And collage have not hostel option because of that student never experienced late night activities, collage timing is 11 am to 5 pm. Collage haven't gym and cafeteria option.
