Every candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B) shall satisfy the following conditions.

(i) Passed 10+2 or its equivalent from the Board recognized by the University of Calcutta for General, SC/ST, and PWD

(ii) 10+2 Level Marks obtained from the Board recognized by the University of Calcutta : GENERAL: At least 45% marks in the best four subjects. (Excluding Environmental Studies of WBCHSE).

(iii) Candidate passed 10+2 from the Board other than WBCHSE, ISC, CBSE, and Rabindra Mukto Vidyalay must obtain “EQUIVALANCE CERTIFICATE” from the office of the Registrar,( Equivalence Section) University of Calcutta, 87/1, College Street, Kolkata-700073 by a written application in plain paper with a relevant photocopy of 10+2 Mark Sheet. A certificate will be required at the time of Admission. It will be safe to obtain the certificate before the online application submission.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Admission to the Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B) 5-Year Course shall be made in order of Merit on the basis of an Admission Test to be conducted every year by the University.
