My honest experience of my collage life

Likes

In my collage i like collage study method , professor are so helping nature , they explain topic very simple and explaining way to understand easily .
In collage so many workshop and event happen student have better knowledge about law concept because of workshop , moot court and events happen. They increase student speaking skill and collage provide court visit every year to better understanding.
In my collage the fees structure of collage is very afforadable any middle class person can also pursue law , and every year you get schoolarship that also help to continue your collage. And if you miss your fees they also give you time to repay that

Dislikes

In my collage the infrastructure of collage is not good , classes are very small and not have many facilities like canteen, medical help and i think in my collage they need to provide basic facility for student to make their collage life easy
In my collage not have placement option i think they need to provide placement option .
In my collage i think they need new professors because in my collage only few professors are good in teaching and also they need new professors who comfortable to teach other launagage like hindi english because in collage many studentare non bengali

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my collage courses curriculum conduct by Calcutta university, every collage who affiliated with Calcutta university follow Calcutta university curriculum. I choosen BA LLB because in ba llb every semester you learn new law subject and they help you better understand because you have five year times you can learn every law subject very breifly way. I think the curriculum of my law subject is enough to prepare me for real world application because you read every law subject who is important for your real world experience that is the reason i choose this course. I think they need to change repetive topic in semester because of tenure of course i repeated few topic of my subject i think they need to change the few topic of subject they are so repeated. Every year two semester exam i give and semester season is june and December , in june semester exam student have very less time to prepare for exam i think this is a difficult for students for prepare exam in a short time.

Likes

The first of all the faculty members of our college is very polite and friendly. They assist each and every students to understand topics and case laws.
They helps every students in examination and scholarship registration process. The behaviour of college stuffs are very gentle and they are very helpful. They assist every student with patience.
College is located in the heart of the city. One can use metro, bus, car or any public transport to reach the college. The metro station is only 5 mins away from the college.

Dislikes

The campus is very small. There are two separate buildings which are located around 10 mins away on walking distance.
There is no proper library in the campus. The library is very small and collection of books are limited.
There is no ground in the campus. There is no sports activities organised by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BA.LL.B is a professional degree course. The course is actually consist of two degrees, BA and LLB. The syllabus completes a vast field of various statutes. There are various applications of the statutes in professional world. The curriculum makes forge a student into a proficient lawyer. But every coin has two sides. The syllabus covers a lot but the authority doesn't update the syllabus thus it losses it's relevancy in different places. The legal system is changing frequently to maintain it's relevancy but the syllabus doesn't update at all. There are many topics which are not so much relevant in the daily situation. Yes, it is obviously necessary to gather knowledge from depth but it becomes quite useless in the real life sceneries. The Evidence act, Interpretation of statutes, Jurisprudence are the hardest part of the course in my opinion. Some topics are quiet difficult than others but not as hard as the mentioned topics.
