Remarks

The college is good for students belonging to an economicallt weaker section of the society but want to opt for higher studies to crack competetive exams. But the college infrastructure can be a little more nicer considering the size of the campus and the faculty can be a little more energetic

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college comes under Kolhan University which helds examimation every six months so the cirriculum is based on kolhan university. Examination is taken every six months with oracticals and the exam mostly has theory problems and lesser numericals.

Placement Experience

2

No the college does not provide any placements and even the job opportunities provided is very less. Though the colleges provides for internship at NML and Tata Steel which are two very reputed organisations.

College Events

3.5

Being a first year student i have a very less idea about the events being celebrated in the college and as far as I know there are very few events to be honest as it is a government college maybe. But the college does take part in many events in the various college in the city.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible as coopetative college is a government college and many students who belong to the lower strata of the society too come here. The fees for each sem for BSC Phy is about 1.5k.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides a very good chance of internship cum scholarship at NML and Tata Steel and if the student is good enough they maybe placed there as well. And as far as loans are concerned the fee structure is quite feasible so loans are not needed.

Campus Life

3

The campus is quite big. With big play grounds for sports like cricket football volleyball etc. Making the college good in sports. The labs are okayish and the lab staffs are helpful and very friendly. So it makes up for a very good healthy learning environment.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni has a lot of contrast. Some of them are very high ranked people in the society while some are very low ranked people. But the people on the higher ranks do love the college and do lots of good work for it and the seniors are helpful as well.

Admission

I applied for the college and on the basis of my marks i got my name in the merit list though some people also got admission through the entrance exam held by the college. the required marks for admission is atleast 75 in the subject applied for

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is quite experienced yet friendly and as most of the people are from middle class the fees is also feasible. Though there are some professors who have to be changed because of their age.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.
