Course Curriculum Overview

4

Coming from commerce background in class 12 I had the opportunity as well as decision to take bachelor of commerce in graduation as accounts was my favourite subject. In india the curriculum is different from the actual or real world applications so it only provides basic to the real world . I would suggest to add real world learning thing which will help students in gaining job and going to a good Position in company. Exams were held mostly late because of covid and our college ended in November 2023 which was late from it's actual time the difficulty was moderate in the examination as students with basic clear can pass the examination at ease

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees was good as people could afford it being a government college fees was not changed in all the years ut remained same throughout. Scholarship were available for sc/st students. My total cost of education would be around 6000. The job roles were provided through a WhatsApp group but the placements companies were not good or there salary was less comparatively.

Campus Life

3.5

There was no such annual function held but sometimes there were competitions held from time to time for students to take part in it and make most of it the festivities included celebration of republic day, independence day, Saraswati puja etc.which were held in college premises. Cricket, badminton and volleyball fields are there in the campus for students to play. There is no such group or clubs for students

Admission

The eligibility of the course was to get pass in class 12 board examination. The application form was found on jharkhand universities.nic.in and the cost of form was rs. 100 application dated was around july- august as covid was there but now it's June-July. I didn't avail any reservation benefits and I don't think there is any type of reservation in this course. The exams were held on frequent basis but were always late. There was an examination fees of rs. 410 everytime when examination occured . The level of difficulty of exam was moderate. The improvement can be made on the website for making it easier for students to help in submitting the application form.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members were mostly phd and had good knowledge about the subjects which they were trained into students can interact with teachers by going to the staffroom and take there genuine advice to get there work done. Teachers were friendly but need to be more. The students to faculty ratio was wide as there were more number of student's in the college the students were divided into sections and it really really helped teachers as well as students in learning.

The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.
