Future of MET

i have done my bachelors in Bscit and i wanted to do masters and mca is more professional and the MET college is amongst the top 5 colleges in mumbai and provide a good placement approach to the students and teaching and as per the course curriculum i would say that they are providing us no time the syllabus is vast and we have very minmal time to study for our placement

well i dont know much about internship in my college as im from first year and its only been 1 month in my college but i would say that there are many compnies who comes for intership in my college as i have been told by my seniors . i far as i know most companies comes for web dev role and but they doesnt comes for specialisation they ask core programming concept in java to know students capability so far and projects are built in every sem like mini projects which help u get good idea of develpment

my college has tie up with some good companies and they also provide good package also and for campus placements students are eligible after 3rd sem and companies like asian paints bn paribas, and more companies but i dont know as im from 1st year i will have to ask my senior. the students getting placed depends on performance and the the percentage of student placed is 40% after completion i will like to get placed in the compay or for internship that the main goal the highest package is 10 lpa and lowest is 4.5 lpa

i took addmission in cap round under EWS category so my fees for the year was 105913 and the total fees for open category is 183900 so i got scholarship for 50% waiver in my tution fees for TFWS = 27786 for sc ,st 10000 for girlls ews/ebc-27786 for boys ews/ebc-27786 for girls ebc category tution fees is 100% waiver

as of i know the orientation program for 1st yr student is held after addmission in september and the tech events acually held after after semesters exam. as for the library there are many books to read and most books are there in the library. the classroom have touch screen monitor which is very good and functional instead of using normal white board with marker which is wastage and computer labs are also good every student have their own personal pc to use thats very helpfull and personalized to see and computer also works very well with good support from the computer lab assistant

my first preference was vjti and 2nd was spit and third was met in which i took addmission , the reason first of all is the quality and they were also providing scholarship and category reservation so for that i got addmission and also i had to pay less fees as i got reservation for the cap round i didnt got addmission in other college because my percentile was a bit low and it was 96.39 and the cutoff was around 99-98 in that collge for ews category so for that reason . and u can only take addmission for mca if u had given mht-cet exam for mca

the intake for my course is 60-70 and we have 5 teachers for only these much students and they have provided us the mentor for each students 68/5 so every 15 student have 1 mentor to approach them so the ratio is quite good and the teachers are also good they teach us very well and they are all qualified for these

the college is located in bandra which is a premium place in mumbai and has many place to visit along side and to rome and travel and there is pg facility from college students mainly rent house near by, hangouts places like bandstand,hanging garden , church where there is fair and many more places in bandra as most people know , play ground beside college and many more amenities available
