My college

Positive : the teachers and non teaching staffs are really good we have free internet service and air-conditioned library where almost every book which is helpful to us is available Negative:the college campus is very small as they are rebuilding the main building and they take money in the name of development fee every year. the college library occupies small area hardly 10,15 students can study at a time

our college is affiliated to calcutta university so it follows the same. Our college provides degree like BA, BSC, BCOM and B. ED ALSO. They follow the cbcs system under which we have two exams in a year semester wise. One semester is of 100 marks for each subject which you choose. In this way there are six semester in 3years (for BA, BSC, BCOM)

No, Our college doesn't provide any job opportunities which is one of the demerits of our college.but they do advertise if there is any opportunity from different source. I Hope college will look into the matter

There are a lot of events which we celebrate. The most famous the freshers party which college gives to the student where we enjoy a lot inspite of that there are social awareness activities where we take part actively. We have annual sports, nss unit, ncc (from this year)

Its feasible for BA, BSC, BCOM THE fee for a year is about 8000( without computer science as subject) and 12000(with computer science) annually plus we have to pay some more for like registration and exam fee for the university

We have scholarships for underprivileged students (st/sc) where they get free education and there is also a programe called kanyashree(under state government) where girls gets paid for higher education every year. There are also scholarships for meritorious students and if somebody takes bengali(our regional language)honours the fee is paid by our college for these students

We have annual sports which take place usually in cu maidan ground or netaji indoor stadium there are many events runing, long jump, high jump, classical chair game etc where boys and girls takes part showcase their talents. we have lab in our college library where get free internet service to study and research

The seniour students helps us if there is any need. They give the right directions and motivate us to do hard work as like our friends so that we can do something for our college and for us to have bright future. They gave us notes and stand with us in bad times

Whe had to fill up the form online through the college portal and paid some fee for the form.according to our merit they bring the list of successful candidates. if there is any absentee or unwillingness they may bring another list so that the students with lower grades can get admission as the seat is now vacant. Then they call for counseling or documentation. After someday they notifie the day when will classes starts

The faculties are very friendly and they help a lot. They take extra classes if it's needed.they provide the books which are not easily available in the market. The staff members or non teaching staffs are cooperative with students. they really listen to us
