College Events
There are more 12 Departmental fests. More than 15 Hall fests. 5 Cultural Club fests. Fests are heavily sponsored and have a great footfall as the university itself has around 30,000 students enrolled on top of that they have their parents etc too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible and was kept in mind for the weaker sections of the society. For eg An MBA costs just 30,000 Rs where as in private colleges it may cost upto 30 Lakhs for the same MBA degree. Hence it is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are numerous scholarships available by Alumni and other organisations to the students. How ever since I was a NRI students people usually took the misconception that they are rich and for this reason no scholarship was ever offered to me.
Campus Life
There are all types of sports grounds in our campus from 2 hockey grounds to a football and a cricket ground to an olympic size swimming pool. The activities have a dedicated place allotted to them that is the Cultural Education Club and all the activities such as art, craft , literature etc is taken up here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rate is just at around 300Rs a month. It was quite spacious but now it is getting crowded day by day single seater rooms have been turned into double seaters. And triple seaters have been turned into quad seaters.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network is one of the most helpful features of this university where donations of around 20 million has been provided by the vast alumni network out of which 2 million has been provided by a single person Frank Islam.
Admission
The Admission process is online and takes a few minutes to apply , then you have to appear for entrance exam at the specified center written on your admit card which you get at the time of applying. Later on if you are selected your rolll no. Will appear on the website in the selected list then you have to appear for an interview. If you are found eligible you are allowed to take up the course.
