AMU MBA : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The MBA program at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a two-year course requiring candidates to pass an entrance exam, followed by a group discussion and personal interview for admission. The entrance test assesses reasoning, aptitude, quantitative skills, and general knowledge. Admissions open every January-February, with results and shortlisted candidates announced on AMU's website. AMU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs across various disciplines like social sciences, engineering, and arts. For the first and second years, students pay approximately INR 19,740 and INR 10,040, respectively, including hostel fees. Placement drives feature companies like TCS, HDFC, and Wipro, with salary packages ranging from 3-5 LPA on average, and top packages reaching up to 30 LPA.

Around 50-70% of students secure placements, often with the help of the university's placement cell and alumni network. Internships, some offering stipends up to INR 10,000 per month, are available. Despite challenges from location and the pandemic, the university maintains consistent placement rates with 30-40 companies recruiting annually. Scholarships are primarily funded by the government, with some alumni-funded options like the Michigan Scholarship. NRI students face higher fees at INR 3.5 lakh per year.
