Course Curriculum Overview
The reason why this course is because accounting jobs will always be available and there's much more than accounting students can do apart from this. So, to have endless opportunities not just in accounting or finance but to pursue other interests too, I have opted for this course.
Placement Experience
I want to pursue MBA and I have started preparing for that. B.Com students though procure jobs from campus in Big 4 as they are always in hunt for best accounting professionals and our college does produce them in numbers every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Jagran Lakecity University is the biggest private university of Bhopal and even bigger than LNCT or the Oriental Group of Colleges. The fees for my course which is B.Com (Hons) is 95000 a year. OBC students get a flat 28000 reverse from state government scholarship scheme and SC/ST studnets 42000 back.
Campus Life
International Media Fest is what we call a box office thing as it is a grand fest where many singers and all are invited. Besides that as well we have many fetss but we don't have a departmental fest. Our building is one of the most iconic building of the campus as we have superb infrastructure overall as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are amazing as three seater room with air-conditioned and attach washrooms is how our small but equipped room feels like. Food is good as we do get Pohe for breakfast twice a week and since we are MP people, and it we get Pohe we hardly need anything then.
Admission
I applied for CUET to check if I can get any top college or university. Maximum that i could get was BHU and to go to a different state and study just for undergraduate commerce course, I didn't felt worth it and hence I chose to study at JLU which is indeed the largest private university in Madhya Pradesh.
Faculty
Accounting and Finance Hons is a course to behold. All the professional accounting be it GST, Tax Calculation or the exemptions provided are covered in our course. Our faculties are prime as for every form of accounting and finance the faculties who are masters in that very domain are the one who has been put in place.
Night Life
Upper Lake or the badi lake as we call it in Bhopal and Van Vihar National Park which has a lot of tigers as well is the one which we prefer when we go out of the campus. Kaveri Dam is also a nice option and for movies and all Bhopal has DB City Mall though it's far off from our campus.
