LPU: Is it Worth It?

the setting of subjects according to the course and semester is absolutely perfect. everything we learn is taught us on a perfect order, and each subject is taught in depth for good understanding, and each subject have a very deep relevance to any subject we choose in the field of CS.

internship opportunities are endless. our university also has a great exchange programme. they provide students to go abroad to a university on scholarship, allows us to stay there for a year or two and finish our degree at LPU, and basically provides us the opportunity to get an experience of the outer world.

Placements are awesome. students are provided direct reports of all on campus placements through our university management system. both on campus and off campus placements are super good. we have a 97% placement rate in our college. a good cgpa and good skills is the way to go.

yearwise, academically, im paying 3,10,000, including residence, mess. i have a scholarship of 56,000 per semester. the actual tuition fee is 1,40,000 per semester for my course. i got the scholarship through their integrated exam called LPU-NEST.

there are numerous clubs at LPU, starting from each and every type of sport to each and every type of club. from literary to dance and tech and music and what not. find your best interest, and then join the club at the university.

meals are really good and healthy. and by healthy i mean you literally never fall sick. you stay very healthy and safe, and the food is actually very tasty. hostel and mess registration can be done directly during admission formalities

this college provides better placements, better faculty and education, or it has so been my experience so far. i got into the three other universities i applied to, but i chose LPU, because its a very safe, big campus. it provides a lot of opportunities to shoot your shot with all your dreams, no matter what they are. students are supposed to give the LPU-NEST exam for admission.

the faculty to student ratio is 1:60. however, long class times and availabilty of teachers well after the academic hours makes it easy for students to reach out to the teachers. extra help classes are also provided for struggling students, and anybody who wishes to gain a better clarity in that particular subject can join those classes and help themselves. the test system is divided into CA (continuous assessment), which is done to assess the students understanding capability of a particular topic, Mid Term Test, and End Term Test. an attendance of over 90% is also considered good as we get a total of 5 marks over this. exams depend totally on the preparation of the student. but they are moderate to hard. students usually face no problem in clearing exams.

no, there was no such interview rounds. all you had to do was clear the entrance exam set by lpu, and according to your marks you will be awarded a scholarship, and you also need to have the marks required to get into your field of interest.

we have lots of food spots spread all over the campus, and they stay open till very long at night. gym closes at arounf 10-11, library closes at 12 a.m., for girls, the hostel reporting time is 8 p.m. the most famous hangout spot is our unimall and robo park, and it has the best vibe out there
