A comprehensive review of south Calcutta law college .

The course is very relevant and is a professional course and is a necessity in today's society to become a learned advocate or judge , I feel 5 years is bit too much but there is 2 degrees at the same time so that's okay

This is a government college under university of Calcutta so the fees are quite reasonable , the admission fees this college is 23000 approx and the yearly fees are 10000 approx for the 5 year ballb course . There is no scholarship directly from college but students can opt for govt and private scholarship through college .

There are many programmes like blood donation , basanta utsav , socials , freshers , saraswati pujo and also many co-carriculars like mooting , debate , quizzes and ect and there is also clubs like music club , dance club , book club , etc

I wanted to go to nlus but that was not in my luck so I opted for a best government in my state , I gave the culet entrance exam and got a rank of 208 and secured this government college, the entrance test is not that hard avarage students can clear it .

The faculty members are very helpful and supportive they go out of their way to help students and the classes are very helpful also , this is a 5 year course and in ayear there is 2 semester and subjects of arts and law are reached , like political science, sociology, english , economics, contract , family law , tort

There is no nightlife because this is a morning college and there is no hostels for this particular college so the college ends at 3 pm and the library is open until 4:00 pm , there is a gym in the college which is only open in the college hours for intersted students .
