South Kolkata Law College is best!!

There are many aspects of legal studies and Calcutta University through which our college is affiliated covers them all. Till third year we have to study all aspects and in fourth we can choose the electives that we want and study the one in which we want to excel.

Law firms and Goenka group are the ones who hires all the students who appear for placements in the final year. ITC too have started getting students from our college and now Indus Law Firm is the one that has taken students at a package worth 8-10 lakhs.

South Calcutta Law College which is in top 3 law colleges of the city charge students just 12000 a year. For SC/ST students the fees is rather just 1/4tth and they pay just 3000 fees. Registration fees of 2500 is paid during the first year.

INIZIO and Atharva are two fests. INIZIO is for our college students and Atharva is a fest where all Cu affiliated students are invited for debate and moot competition. In infrastructure we don't have much to boast as our classrooms and library are the only thing we have.

State Law Entrance exams is required as Calcutta University has too colleges like Department of Law, Hazra Campus, Johesh Chandra Law College and Surendranath Law college. Our college though tops them all and top rankers get admission here.

The strongest of faculties is what we have South Calcutta law college. The bat council of India has recognised not just out college but our faculties too. Most of them were legal professionals too at some point in time.

Victoria Memorial, and Birla Mandir are our hangout spots in evening and Quest Mall is also close to the campus. We have bowling alley and theatre in that mall. Someone Else is the best restaurant near our college.
