Get insight of an amazing Law College in Kolkata

Even though the course is well managed and well planned still I think there should be an improvement. They should add an extra paper for computer literacy. Because usage of computer is very important nowadays but overall the course is great.

You can do internships under the seniors in various court. Internship is a vital part of a student life specially a law student's life because law is a course which needs practical knowledge. College will also help you in that case.

While getting the admission, you'll have to pay around 27000 including the admission fees and 1st year tution fees. Then you'll have to pay 10500 year wise. So, the total fees is around 80000 in 5 years. There is no difference of fees between different castes There are some scholarships available for the students like SVMCM and etc. And Student Credit Card also provided by the Govt of West Bengal.

Campus Life in my college is pretty good. Seniors are well manored and helpful. Our college conduct annual fest every year. Also our college is good in sports and co-curricular activities. All these things helps the students to socialize and make friends and memories.

In order to get into the college, you'll have to give CULET. You'll have to get good rank in that exam. If you get too rank you will get chance to study in Department of Law, Calcutta University Hazra Campus but I didn't make it thats why I got South Calcutta Law College. But South Calcutta Law College is also a distinguished govt college.

Faculties of this college is really appreciable. They are really helpful. Not sure about the faculty to student ratio. Specially there's a ma'am, I don't know her name. she's amazing, her teaching style is amazing. According to me faculties are good but this opinion may vary student to student. Exam isn't that hard. Semester exam are conducted by University of Calcutta. There's 80 number theoretical paper and 20 number Internal which is give by the college.

Our college doesn't provide any hostel. And our college get closed at 3 pm. The locality is safe, you can feel free to roam around at night. There is a Shopping mall nearby and many more places to explore.
