Likes

Well-structured curriculum with great faculties
University offers great exposure with students coming from various countries.
The university is now putting efforts into improving soft skills for better placement opportunities.

Dislikes

Most companied visit the campus for placement with low salary packages.
Once you get selected in any company, you are not allowed to sit for others. (Exceptions are there)
There are many courses with great subject based exposures but for B.Tech some more exposure events are required which is not there.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because i was getting 50% scholarship and also i liked the curriculum. Though there is nedd for inclusion of project-based learning and startup incubation support. While some faculty members are excellent, the overall quality is bit inconsistent.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Placement Experience

Students start to getting placement opportunities from last semester itself. It may be campus placement and pool placement also. The highest package may vary, but the average package is 3LPA-6LPA. Atleast 50-60% get the placement successfully.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual course fee is approximately Rs.2,00,000 in 2025, increasing by Rs. 5,000-Rs, 10,000 annually. Also, they provide Scholarships and it is merit-based. Students with a CGPA of 10 receive 100% scholarship. CGPAs of 9.5 and 9 earn 90% and 80% scholarships respectively. But, only few students receive them, the decision lies with the authorities. The continuation of scholarships after first year depends on your first year's score.

Campus Life

The overall campus experience is very good. You can experience one of the biggest cultural and tech events "Chorus" where you can show all your talents. It features competitions, celebrity appearances, stalls, performances and many more. Most classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and high speed internet supporting multimedia teaching methods.

Admission

I chose this college as it was been recommended by my relative. I did not applied for any other colleges. But one can try other in the vicinity. Though during my course period, I found Sharda University to be one of the best.

Faculty

The faculties are supportive in general, though exceptions are there. I personally like Mrs Ranjita Singh due to her supportive and calm behaviour throught the years. If you are able to make good connections and communication with your faculties, you will get a chance to learn lot of things outside your syllabus too. Exams are moderately difficult. You can go through them easily with dedicated study.

Night Life

The students can enjoy the life around the colleges with access to cafeterias, playgrounds, gym and other activities. The hostel timing may vary for girls and boys. Students generally visit to Venice Mall and Jagat Plaza market for shopping and fun.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in third year .just after they complete internships. There were several companies visited like Asian paints,Bajaj Auto ltd. ,Honda,Hero ,Yamaha,TVS ,Adani Wilmar,TCS, Infosys Maruti Suzuki.,etc. each of the company select 3 to 4 students .Maruti Suzuki hires 10 to 15 students .Package generally revolves around 8 to 12 Lpa. Placement for Paint Technology students is 100 percent since last 5 to 6 years My plan is to get a job.

I choosed btech because I want to make my career in tech fields after coming into college I have seen so many students are in a rat race but so many are not and I feel they can make out curriculum way more better to include subjects which can teach us real world Problems and how to handle that in this AI world,The knowledge of AI is must so I think there should be regular classes for AI and yes that should be of good level otherwise I don't think so students will go to waste there time in college as there are lots and lots of videos on youtube so they will learn from there ,The exams are of medium difficulty level I will not say that they are too easy or too hard

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Great college life

Placement Experience:

A lot of great companies visit the campus and a lot of students also get placed by mass recruiters but the salary offered is not very much. So the average package is not great but some students do get great package by their own or by college if you are serious.

Honest Review

Placement Experience:

Student should get atleast 7 cgpa or above to crack good companies. Highest package offered to a student of this college is of 34 lakhs which is offered by company name commvault and average package is about 5 to 6 lakhs. Many companies visited to our college in previous years such as paytm, hcl, tcs, commvault, nucleus etc. Students are eligible to sit in interviews when they are in fourth year. My plans after getting degree is to have a decent job and live my life peacefully.

A nice college life but a little expensive

Sharda University - The world isn't here and you shouldn't be either

I wasn't planning to stay here. My university is Among seven prestigious institutions in India and provides great opportunity to students in both knowledge and practical life skills. Economical institution with the best facilities

I had only apllied in Sharda University & attended the same college. Being a general category student i didnt avail any quota. There are various steps for admission. Firstly the minimum marks which should be atleast 50% in graduation & the student should communicate well in english. Secondly, one should have appeared for CAT/XAT (Score 65 percentileor above) or MAT (Score 75 perceentile or above). If the candidate hasn't appeared any of the mentioned exams or doesn't have the required score then he/she can appear for the SUAT test which is conducted in online mode by Sharda University. After clearing the SUAT, the candidate will have to go through GDPI which is the last & overall step. For me, the admission process was quite simple.
