Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose the course because i was getting 50% scholarship and also i liked the curriculum. Though there is nedd for inclusion of project-based learning and startup incubation support. While some faculty members are excellent, the overall quality is bit inconsistent.

Placement Experience

4

Students start to getting placement opportunities from last semester itself. It may be campus placement and pool placement also. The highest package may vary, but the average package is 3LPA-6LPA. Atleast 50-60% get the placement successfully.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual course fee is approximately Rs.2,00,000 in 2025, increasing by Rs. 5,000-Rs, 10,000 annually. Also, they provide Scholarships and it is merit-based. Students with a CGPA of 10 receive 100% scholarship. CGPAs of 9.5 and 9 earn 90% and 80% scholarships respectively. But, only few students receive them, the decision lies with the authorities. The continuation of scholarships after first year depends on your first year's score.

Campus Life

4

The overall campus experience is very good. You can experience one of the biggest cultural and tech events "Chorus" where you can show all your talents. It features competitions, celebrity appearances, stalls, performances and many more. Most classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and high speed internet supporting multimedia teaching methods.

Admission

I chose this college as it was been recommended by my relative. I did not applied for any other colleges. But one can try other in the vicinity. Though during my course period, I found Sharda University to be one of the best.

Faculty

4

The faculties are supportive in general, though exceptions are there. I personally like Mrs Ranjita Singh due to her supportive and calm behaviour throught the years. If you are able to make good connections and communication with your faculties, you will get a chance to learn lot of things outside your syllabus too. Exams are moderately difficult. You can go through them easily with dedicated study.

Night Life

4

The students can enjoy the life around the colleges with access to cafeterias, playgrounds, gym and other activities. The hostel timing may vary for girls and boys. Students generally visit to Venice Mall and Jagat Plaza market for shopping and fun.

Placement Experience:

Placements in Bennett University need a lot of improvement. The average package for B.Tech CSE is 8 LPA, and the highest is claimed to be around 1 crore, which was not on campus. Companies do visit here, including the big ones like Scaler etc. The major issue is the students. Students here are not skilled enough to bag the good packages companies have to offer. Around 300 students sit for the placements out of 3000 and out of these, around 40% of them get placed. The placements start in 7th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects of the Curriculum That Influenced My Decision The course offers a strong foundation in core subjects Inclusion of practical/lab-based learning alongside theory Availability of elective subjects to explore specific interests Focus on career-oriented subjects relevant to future job roles Opportunity to work on projects and assignments 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications / Higher Studies Curriculum builds basic conceptual understanding effectively Helps in preparing for competitive exams and higher studies However, real-world application is limited due to less practical exposure Needs more industry-based projects, case studies, and internships Soft skills and professional training are not emphasized enough 3. Areas for Improvement (Curriculum & Teaching Methods) Update syllabus according to latest industry trends and technologies Increase focus on practical learning and hands-on experience Introduce more internships, live projects, and workshops Use modern teaching methods (presentations, digital tools, case studies) Encourage interactive classes and student participation Improve continuous assessment methods instead of only exams 4. Exams: Frequency, Timing & Difficulty Conducted in the form of 2–3 internal exams (sessionals) per semester Followed by a final semester/university exam Exams are scheduled at regular intervals, helping in continuous evaluation Difficulty level is moderate Students who attend classes and study consistently can perform well Last-minute preparation may not be sufficient for scoring high marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

To become a software engineer or an artificial intelligence experts i choose b.tech with my major expertise is in artificial intelligence and machine learning. I love to explore it and gain knowledge about it more and more. The curriculum prepares us in many fields, just like in today's technology it is very important to learn it and knows about it. As career perspective it is important. It also helpful in real worlf applications like for the upgradation of technology and for development it plays a crucial role in world. To sole the problems it is helpful, for a sharp mind it is good. In this field I want improvement of jobs and internships and time to time updation. And one thing is that students must take jobs by their skills not by their degree or any other references. The improvement which I want in this course is that teaching method must be more happens by practically not with theory more. Basically if we want to become an engineer we must to face difficult level exams but according to me their difficulties is not more difficult if the exam clear by some students.

Placement Experience:

The college does provide placements its just that majority of the students are not ready for the placements they lack the skills to get placed, companies like scaler does come here and students who are skilled enough do get placed, it just that the crowd here is large so only small amount of deserving ones gets placed, realistically of the total only 10 percentage of the students are getting placements from the college. I mostly plan for off campus placement but if your are skilled enough you would definelty get placed here.
