Rmlnlu insights

The course provides us with two degrees Bachelors of Arts and Bachelors of law . For the first 1.5 years there would be 3 arts subjects which you have to choose and 2-3 law compulsory subjects. The subjects in the starting are very basic and easy to understand.

I don't know about the stipend and all because I am not that much senior so the internships I am doing are unpaid for now . But there is a internship and placement committee for the students to help and guide them to find good internships whether it is in a law firm or under an advocate.

You are eligible for placements from 4-5th year but these are the one that you would find . For on campus placement you would get them in 5th year. Wipro , Khaitan and co. Etc. are the big companies that visit to our college Highest placement 2025 were 22lpa and median was 10 lpa. The no. Of students opting for corporate law are less mostly go for judiciary.

Annual fees - Rs.1,85,000 Mess fees - Rs. 35,000 If you pay mess fees then the hostel would be included no other fees for hostels. There are scholarships for students whose parents can't pay that huge amount.

Ohr and bharatotsav are the fest which happen between August to December and there are many festivals which are celebrated such as Kargil divas, janmastami, independence day etc. The library is on of the bestest thing in the campus with a wide variety of books .

The room provides with a bed with a kurl on matress, a godrej almirah and a small black box (to keep your books ) , a table and a chair , two tubelights and a balcony. The meal is very good . My friends in different colleges were really shocked when I told about how good the mess staff is and the good quality food thery serve us. Hostel fees is not there you just need to pay mess fees to take an accommodation in the hostel.

I did got nlu ranchi before this in the clat counselling but I didn't take that college because it was a tier 3 nlu and very far from my hometown whereas rmlnlu is in my home town and is a very good tier 2 nlu. I did not get a rejection from any other college . To get admission in Rmlnlu you need to give the entrance exam - CLAT( Common law admission test) and have to achieve a good rank in the same for a decent nlu . Once you have your result the counselling process starts and you get colleges and you have a option to either freeze them or float .

The faculty is very supportive and friendly and for the first years it is very easy to blend in with the college life because the faculty give you a safe space to adjust in . I can't say that only this specific faculty is very good everyone is good in their own . But there is one professor Dr. Monika Srivastava (teaches political science) ,she is very sweet , she's like a mother in college,just uplifts my mood . Many sweet staff like Dr.Isha Yadav is also a very good mentor if you have any problem she would be the perfect guardian to tell . If you need any career related guidance there is K.A. Pandey Sir , a very disciplined teacher I must say and the rest of the faculty is also very good. There is no faculty I can say I don't like everyone is very much accessible and understanding.

Night life is so lively it is very safe to roam around in the campus and the best opportunity to build a good connection with you batchmates and seniors . The in timings of campus are 8 p.m. and for the hostel is 12 a.m. Although after sunset it is not that safe to roam outside the campus .
