Remarks

Sinhgad College of Engineering is very good and one of the famous college in the Pune. In this college students came from long distances like even Jammu and Kashmir. This college have very friendly environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course ie. Production Engineering is very good for those who wanted knowledge of both core and management. Exam structure is sem wise. There are 4 year of engineering and this have 8 semesters. 2 sem each year.

Placement Experience

Placement in sinhgad College of Engineering is quite good for IT and comp and ENTC department students. In 2019 almost 85% students are placed. But this situation is not same for mechanical and production students.

In sinhgad College of Engineering there are various and varieties of event and fest are celebrated. Sinhgad carnival, dandiya night, tech fest etc. But sinhgad karandak is one of best event of college in pune.

Fee structure in sinhgad College of Engineering is normal like other colleges. For open fees are 1.1 lakh and for SC students this fees for just 1.5k lol. But there are some scholarship and concession facility available in college.

Yes there is scholarship facility available in sinhgad College of Engineering. For students like SC, St and obc scholarship is there. And for open with poor background ebc facility is there. And also laon facility is there for needy students.

Sinhgad College of Engineering has all types of labs depending on type of branch. Also there were varieties of activities are there like nss, SSC for curriculum activities. Almost all types of sports are played in SCOE. A big cricket ground in campus is the favourite in campus.

Yes sinhgad College of Engineering has alumni function. This function is arrange every year and ex students from sinhgad College of Engineering are invited to share there experience with the existing students. And this helps a lot to the existing students for their future help and guidance.

I always wanted to be an engineer when I searched best engineering colleges online I found this college. I admitted this college through dte.com it was online admission process where number of cap rounds there. I was selected at 1st round.

Faculty

Faculty of sinhgad College of Engineering is very good and friendly. But sometimes this faculty becomes headache to some students. Top level management is not that much good. Overall faculty is good.

An Honest Insight into Life at My College

Placement Experience:

The placement situation at my college is really good. It is getting better all the time. At my college students can start getting ready for internships and placement training from the semester. Then most of the full-time job opportunities start coming up in the semester. A lot of students at my college get something called Pre-Placement Offers or PPOs for short through internships before the actual placement season starts at my college. My college students get these PPOs. It is a big help to them. Placement, at my college is a deal and my college students take it very seriously. A lot of known companies come to the campus every year. The main companies that hire people from the campus are NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank. Some companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini hire a lot of people from the campus. These companies, NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank are really good at finding the people for the job. Companies, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini also give jobs to students. The Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 are looking good far. We have had some results. The highest package offered to a student is 45 LPA. The median salary is 9.5 LPA. This is a sign because it means that most students are getting a decent salary. 86.3 Percent of students have been placed so far. The average package is different for each company and role. For example a software developer will get a package than an analyst or a data engineer. Students who get the paying roles usually have strong coding skills. They also have projects to show and they do well in their technical interviews and in Data Structure and Algorithms which we call DSA for short. VIT Pune: Balanced Academics, Good Placements & Active Campus Life.

Placement Experience:

pracemnets at vit pune are quite good, with students becoming eligible from 7th semester. manu reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizenat, Deloitte , Wipro visit campus every year and make large number of offers across technical and non technical roles. The avarage pacakage ranges from 5-6LPA while the highest package goes up to 30 +LPA. Around 80-85% students gets placed every year.

The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES).
